I have been with Ivybridge for almost six years now and with each acquisition, the service has gotten worse. This year, they actually managed to forget to complete my accounts, so I have had to get a new accountant to try and sort it out in time
Ivybridge Accountants were incredibly disappointing and frustrating. As a micro business owner I agreed with a partner of the business to produce abridged accounts. The firm charged me for full accounts. This was not only unexpected but also financially straining. Additionally, they were late in filing my accounts, which resulted in HMRC imposing late fines and interest chargeable. When I raised my concerns / complaints, I was met with bullying and threats of court action and insolvency. This unprofessional and aggressive behavior was completely unbecoming of a regulated industry professional. I would never use Ivybridge Accounting again and strongly advise others to look elsewhere for accounting services.
Ivybridge Accountants was very good, until about two years ago. Two years ago I gave them my accounts in a file in date and category order. When I received them back they where no longer in a file or any kind of order, they where all crumpled up and stuffed in to a large jiffy bag envelope. I complained and got an apology email no offer of putting my file back in order. I then found out Ivybridge Accountants had changed hands and are no longer run by Simon. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and let them do my tax return again last year. Once again all my paperwork was completely out of order. Although it was all back in my folder and not a jiffy bag this time. I shall not be using them again this year
Simon and his team provide a very professional, helpful and friendly service. They always provide sound and timely advice and we've used and trusted them to conduct our tax affairs, on a personal and business level, for many years.
