Very helpful staff. Today I made an error with misreading a deal on crisps and a tall man with dark hair was friendly, checked and informed me of my error in a respectful way.
2 women were stealing, so me and my friend were watching them & we didn’t wanna get close as they were shouting and shoving. mind you there was 2 people in front of us and then they said next please as we were stood there because we didn’t wanna go over and then they said more aggressively so we went over and they swore at us ( an old bigger women with orange/ginger hair ) mind you we are 15 and then this gothic women said we were goring and then talked shit about us infront of us.
Katelyn (not sure if that is the correct spelling) was a wonderful help helping me find something as simple as teaspoons! She offered to show me, took me to where it was and asked if there was anything else. It may seem simple, but she was very kind and seemed to genuinely care about helping me out. God bless.
Love this place for a full range of all types of goodies, bought cat treats and a double fitted sheet today, for example. The prices are excellent.

Got ID for a lighter. Clearly i am over the age of 18! In fact im 33 next month! Clearly old enough to buy a lighter! Womans attitude who asked for it was disgusting. Read a few more comments on here. Clearly she has an attitude problem or is very miserable in her life. "Go buy it somewhere else then im not serving you" she could have been mich more polite about it
I went here the other day, decided not to buy anything and as soon as I was leaving ithis old white lady went to the security guard and told him to search me since she thought I was stealing. I felt embarrassed and absolutely humiliated by everyone in the store as he went in my bag to search me for £1 Buenos that I put back. It got so bad to the point where he was about to put his hands on me and threatened to call the police. As someone who is a black person I felt really uncomfortable being in this store and I will definitely won’t shop here again. the thing that happened to me was downright racist and I will be reporting this whoever hired that security guard needs their head sorted out
We dropped by to look for small sized gift bags. Unfortunately, while we found some gift bags, they were too large to suit our purpose. Aside from that, it was very busy inside. Not sure if it is this busy usually or if it's because of the celebration planned at Old Market Square. There was a large selection of candies and sweets. They even had a frozen section.
