   I have only just resentsley started shopping at poundland ,i didn't realise the great virility of well known brands on sale and the price, i known its called poundland so the savings i now make shopping there amazing to me,also the staff even when I was at the self service scanner till a young lady working on Friday morning informed my i was missing out on a deal as I missed a offer of 3 items for £3 I only picked up 2 items so she advised me to get another item as i would have been charged £3 for 2 item a very friendly girl, didn't have to get involved but very grateful she did i ended up picking up a free pair of reading glasses thanks to her good nature and great value at poundland. I will be doing a lot more of my weekly shopping there. Good shop lovely staff

   I had a problem with my items, I had missed putting them in my bag, went back next day, manageress was very efficient checked her CCTV and saw what had happened, I have to say she was great at dealing with me, Good store I love visiting Yours Sincerely Mrs. Yvonne DevineX

   The store itself is OK. Though I notice a lot more products are not £1 and it's also worth checking the price of things in other retailers as you can find things cheaper. Unfortunately, i can't say I've had a good experience with staff in this store on any of my visits. Not attentive, not knowledgable, sometimes rude (grunts rather than acknowledgements) and the last time I was there, a blonde female member of staff was stood at the self service checkouts with a head set on, talking extremely loudly to whoever was on the other end of the line about a friend of family members ex partner whose according to this staff member, is a terrible father who doesn't see his children often and then tries to bribe them with gifts. Not appropriate conversation for the shop floor. Perhaps serving on the till when there is a queue would be a better use of her time. The large store over at Riverside Retail Park on the other hand, I can't say enough about the friendliness & helpfulness of staff. Perhaps Beeston staff could visit and take notes.

   Website said they sold cycle puncture repair kits but I looked high and low couldn't find one. When asking a member of staff they said no we dont sell them. There website needs updating but staff were friendly and helpful

   Asked a question to a member of staff about something we had brought their previously and they advised they have never sold it their which I found strange when we had brought it from there and to me they weren't helpful and quite abrupt! not enough people on the tills it's all about self service which some people don't want to use it seems to me that they need some lessons in customer service and be aware it's not all about self service and have a bit organisation in the shop very disappointed and frustrated with the visit
