Chris came to my house, tested, diagnosed and fixed my non-starting car in next to no time and all for an unbelievably fair price.

Classic 1958 MGA - diagnosis, repairs, setting up and tuning. Chris gave invaluable help in diagnosing a split cylinder head gasket and faulty radiator, and much more to get it road ready!. Services included removal, refitting cylinder head, torquing and retorquing, adjusting ignition timing, setting up and tuning twin carbs over multiple visits. He showed great attention to detail, and wasn't phased by anything. No hesitation in recommending him!

Asked for a cambelt replacement renewal. Told they couldn't help with my vehicle. Ended up getting parts from Germany and doing it myself

Excellent mechanic, very reliable and has helped me out more than once. Really good at achieving what most others can't or won't do if your vehicle is considered tricky or is old. Chris goes out of his way to get the job done and a reasonable rate and I cannot ask for any more than this, brilliant service.

I was given Chris' details from a couple of people who had glowing things to say about him, I arranged for him to come and look at an electrical issue with my car, he was upfront in saying he has more experience with petrol stuff rather than diesel but would give it a look over, given a time slot, I took the day off work to be around with the hope that my nightmare car could be sorted but the time slot came and went and I heard nothing. I contacted Chris by both phone call and text and received no response until the evening where he said he'd tried to ring me stating he was running late, showing me the screen capture of the outgoing call - the thing is, had there been an issue with connecting a call, a text or voice mail would surely have made sense. Adding to the fact that I had contacted Chris AFTER he apparently called me just doesn't add up and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he'd rung off before even connecting the call and just didn't want to come and try to sort my vehicle out. This is a shame as I've been let down hugely with this car beforehand and hoped someone like Chris, who had dealt with two people I know would be able to at least point me in the right direction with the issue. I understand that sometimes things go wrong, but a further attempt to keep in contact would have suffice, hell; I emailed to begin with so that was even a third way to try getting hold of me to let me know what was happening.

I rang him and asked a question about the reading that was showing on my dashboard. He text me back an answer and it was sorted. Very knowledgeable car mechanic.
