We were only in this shop 5 minutes!! Long enough to walk straight through the shop!! Both the people working in the shop just looked at you and didn't offer any service at all. Didn't even say thank you for coming in!! And.. we were the only 2 customers in there!! Terrible service.
When I lost a diamond in my engagement ring, Legal and General, my insurance company, sent me to Samuel's. The very rude manager, (despite 36 years in the trade!!!), told me the stones in my engagement and eternity ring, were a mixture of imitation and manufactured stones, not diamonds. He said he wouldn't even accept them in his shop. The "diamond" is now being replaced by a reputable jeweller recommended by L&G. The ring has been valued at over £2500 and the eternity ring over £5000 I'll take them in to show him what a real diamonds looks like when I'm next passing, but I don't think I can help improve his manners
I've always had excellent service in this jewellery store probably the best service on the high street in Torquay. The manager is very friendly and knowledgable along with some of the other staff. They've sold me my engagement ring and wedding rings and were always helpful and never pushy. The store is always very clean and has lots of choice highly recommended.
I had brilliant service both times I shopped with them this month. I can't remember the two ladies who assisted us with our purchases but I can say that they were extremely helpful. Considering how busy they were, I didn't feel rushed. I was very, very impressed with the help we received. I just wish I could remember the staff members who helped me.
