My wife and I had the pleasure of walking Landy, Lusty, Henry, and Harry and had such a wonderful time. We also got to meet several of the sheep and lambs. Definitely was the highlight of our trip to England. But without a doubt, it would not have been as great as it was if it weren't for the personality and friendliness of the host Ben. He really made an effort to make our experience as memorable as possible. Not only that, he had some great suggestions on other places to visit and eat in the area. We really appreciated Ben's warmth and friendliness and hope others get a chance to enjoy walking with the Alpacas and meeting Ben. Thank you Ben, and all the best to you and your family!

Bought this for a friend’s birthday as we wanted to do something ‘out of the box’ and what a treat it was!. We attended on bank holiday Saturday where we got picked up from the farriers by Ben. Very funny guy! loved his ‘dad jokes’. Very knowledgeable of the area and made the whole experience very calming for something that can be quite nerve racking if you haven’t tended to big animals before. Please tell Ben we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have already been recommending the morning out with him, the alpacas and the other animals we seen. Georgia & Leia :)

We booked the Mount Edgcumbe Alpaca Experience for my birthday. What a wonderful experience it was. Our host, Ben, was very friendly and welcoming and very engaging. We learned a lot about the pack of Alpacas Henry, Harry, Landy and Lusty. The walk was a lovely, therapeutic experience and the Alpacas were just pure Joy. Mount Edgcumbe is a perfect venue for the experience and you get to enjoy the park and take in the panouramic views of Plymouth, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Plymouth Sound. A very enjoyable and memorable day.

An incredible and unique way to spend time at Mount Edgcumbe. Ben was the perfect and most welcoming host, super in-tune with all the wildlife in the park, and his good nature and expanse of knowledge made the entire experience completely unforgettable. Walking the alpacas itself was of course a highlight, and surprisingly relaxing too. You quickly start to notice and appreciate their quirks and characters, and there was a genuine enjoyment of their walk which really came across. Would 100% recommend to anyone, especially great for families.

Amazing experience, loved walking the alpacas in such a beautiful area and Ben was great at guiding us through the experience, telling us all about the alpacas and getting us stuck in with feeding them and getting them ready for the walk! Would highly recommend! :)

The alpaca experience is not to be missed. We bought it as a gift for the grandchildren (who we accompanied because of their age). The four alpacas are such lovely animals, each with their own personalities and it was such a pleasure to be able to learn more about them. After some instruction we were able to feed them and harness them ready to go off on a walk. Even on a grey day with showers it’s hard not to be impressed by the beautiful scenery of the park itself and the views across the water to Plymouth, Torpoint and beyond to the moors in both Cornwall and Devon. As well as that you have an alpaca for company! The kids loved it and didn’t stop talking about it for ages after, the two adults were pretty much the same. Of course in order to make this work well a good host is needed and Ben was exceptional, this is someone who clearly knows and loves his animals well and is good at his job.

We went on a Sunday to visit the alpacas and it was an amazing experience. The alpacas are so sweet and each have their own personality. Ben the alpaca caretaker, was so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had the best experience possible, including taking photos for us so we could just concentrate on the experience. We started with some housekeeping and then we took the alpacas out for a walk. Ben really knows his stuff and we learnt alot about alpacas and their behaviours. All the alpacas were so sweet and this experience was a highlight of the year! Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time with Ben the alpaca keeper. We were taught a lot about the alpacas and how each has their own personality which definitely showed! The walk itself was a lot of fun and they were so happy to go out on a walk and help themselves to the greenery. A lot of praise to Ben for his humor and knowledge and he did a really great job making sure everyone was comfortable, enjoying themselves, and overall that there was an atmosphere of wonder and enjoyment with friends. I would absolutely recommend doing the alpaca experience!
