Lucy did a fabulous job with our pet / working Springer ‘Willow’. It’s the best cut I’ve seen after owning 4 Springers and visiting many, many other groomers. Really excellent. Totally recommend.
Took our long haired miniature daschund for a long overdue trim and groom. She came back looking and smelling great. I was delighted with the professional and friendly service
I would not recommend this groomer to anyone. I took my Old English sheepdog recently and the finished job was of the poorest standard! Armpit shaved to the skin and bleeding causing irritation claimed it was matted but far from it as she is brushed out regularly and actually had a mid groom/wash with same groomer 4 weeks previous. One paw missed completely and left with full growth between toes. Uneven trimming of boots around feet with tailed ends all over them. No responsibility taken from the business owner who does not take well to negative reviews which is all part and parcel, all blame pushed back on myself and dog so decided to block me on FB! How childish indeed. A courtesy call the next day to explain would have avoided any negative review. Honestly a waste of £50 in these times when I will now have to arrange to try and book into get fixed. Avoid at all costs, I appreciate Lucy has just qualified but alot more practice is clearly needed. Further to response from business owner, none of this was explained on collection of my dog I was told yes she was a bit more sensitive as just come out of heat but was much braver than last time! 2 hours to wash, clip and dry this breed of dog is not long enough. NB my last dog groomer was unable to continue to take her after having back surgery
Helens Bay Dog Groomers amazing!! Darcy is very timid and shy, not great with new places. Lucy was amazing!! Extremely gentle knew extacty how make Darcy feel at ease. Great cut and wash very happy and reasonably priced!! Will be back highly recommend.
