I have used McCaffrey & Co for several years, and it is very disappointing to see how poorly my most recent issue was handled. I was hit with HMRC penalties of nearly £700 due to an admitted error on their part. Despite assurances from Ciaran McNally that he would cover these costs, he failed to do so, leaving me to pay the penalties myself. What makes this worse is the lack of professionalism and communication. My messages went unanswered, and I did not even receive a formal apology. This falls far short of the standards they promote on their own website about client care and communication. After years as a client, I can no longer trust this firm and will not be using their services again. I would strongly urge others to think carefully before engaging them.
