I had a backpiece done by Nick over 3 sessions and it was an incredible experience. The tattoo itself is so beautiful and I feel so lucky to have it on my body. What started as a weird scribble on my part ended up being the most amazing piece of art. Nick is a fantastic artist, so friendly, and really puts you at ease - I brought headphones to my first session expecting to just zone out and bear the pain for 6 hours but we spent the whole time chatting! He is very thoughtful, always checking in to see how you are doing and ensuring that you're comfortable. The studio itself is beautiful and great vibes all round, everyone who works there seems lovely. I will definitely be coming back for another tattoo! Thanks Nick!
My first and second tattoo were done here! Both today! I wanted to get tattoos for more than 10 years but I never bit the bullet because I was always a bit unsure over who would I trust with such a big and defining thing. I am so glad I found Storyville and maybe everything happened for a reason to wait for so long until I found this place. The people and tattoo artists were so caring, considerate, helped me loads with the style and design, placement and throughout the experience. I came in mentally prepared it will hurt as hell but I had a genuinely relaxing and enjoyable experience. First tattoo, or any number of tattoos, go here! Recently received my first tattoo here. It was an immensely personal tattoo and from start to finish Nick was amazing, talking me through the whole process and spending time getting everything just right. The studio has an amazing feel and a great place to spend time in. Couldn't be happier with the result and enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish, I can only say thank you!
Couldn't recommend these guys more, love my tattoo and the studio is clean, welcoming, and relaxing. Nick and Chris are both lovely, and Chris did an amazing job tattooing the lily on my arm. Easily the best tattoo experience I've had, and even came away with music and TV recommendations! Will deffo be back.
Nick did an amazing job with my tattoo! He suggested some changes to the design but wasn't pushy - convinced me to go bigger (which I'm glad I did) and is also just a genuinely nice, interesting chap to talk to. Since I had the tattoo (one week ago) I've had numerous compliments on it and comments on how well done it is (even from my mum who hates tattoos on principle!). Highly recommend.
