   Excellent meal out with my wife, we turned up without a booking but seriously advise booking as they get busy quick. Service was excellent and just the right amount of attention, food was served so quick and perfectly cooked I was amazed at the service honestly we aren’t used to this level of service nowadays. The atmosphere was great and if we were locals we would be in every week for sure, next time we are back we will be booking to make sure we get a table. Can’t recommend highly enough

   We were cruising through on our narrowboat and so pleased we came here. Oh wow what a great restaurant. The only slight criticism is when you walk in through the front door you are not sure where to go to be seated. We were eventually greeted and shown to our table. The staff were excellent very attentive. The restaurant was very busy but service was excellent. The food was the best I’ve had for ages, I’m very fussy and it couldn’t be faulted all courses were tasty.

   We called back again tonight this place is amazing great staff the place was buzzing, even though they were full we didn’t have to wait for our food. If I could award them ten stars, how can you improve on perfection, but they did it again visit for yourselves. Thank you for a wonderful evening Wow this place is fantastic well worth a visit. It isn't very often a Restaurant ticks all the boxes but this one does Great food Pleasant and very friendly staff. And best of all value for money. Good disabled access entry from the main street out of the car into the building. Please make the staff aware of your needs when booking your table. The Crown carpark is at the rear, a quick 2 min walk over the road well sign posted and it's only a £1 after six Thank You for a great evening and we will be going back.

   Lovely food. Four cheese pizza and gnocchi here are great. I think I have the garlic mushroom starter, which is excellent. I love the palm trees at the back, I hope in the warmer months they can reopen the outside area. Me and my partner come here with her grandparents who travel from Yorkshire to se us, they love eating here too. Its become a family favourite. I feel the negative reviews of this place are very harsh, yes the staff are busy, but with patience they do help you. Just get their attention, the staff are very friendly people.

   1st time we have been back in 3yrs since pandemic. Glad to say food was as excellent as always. Tasty, good portions, lovely atmosphere. Place was buzzing even on a Wednesday night.    From the moment we walked in we received a lovely warm welcome. The food was out of this world, absolutely beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even helping my daughter to cut her pizza. Will definitely be back, certainly recommend this place. My youngest daughter loved it for her birthday, especially when all the staff joined in with happy birthday when the cake was brought out. Thanks so much for a wonderful evening. See you soon.
