   Had a lovely evening out at this restaurant. BYOB is a huge bonus, really helps cost. The sharing board start was amazing. Best mozzarella we have ever had. Pizzas were also yummy. The only slight thing was the service. We had to ask for things like a wine cooler and for our places to be re-set after starters. We were also told our table was needed back but we had only just finished our desert. Not really enough time for 3 courses. 12.5% service after being ushered off our table was a little steep. Staff were absolutely friendly though and were busy :)

   As I was in Macclesfield for the day I decided to have pizza for lunch. Ignoring the usual chains as much as for a variety I tried Wood Fire Smoke. To note the restaurant does have a alcohol licence. Friendly staff fast service (early Friday lunch) huge pizza....would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic pizza...you can even see the oven.

   The food was exceptional. No other word to describe it. The staff were fantastic, friendly, clearly cared about their job and the atmosphere was perfect. There’s a real buzz about the place and with the kitchen in the room also, it just adds to the experience.

   I went here with my sister over a month ago for her 40th and we had the best time! Emily was absolutely fantastic, so understanding and bubbly. I meant to leave a review way back when, but even still, over a month later I just had to say something! Will definitely be coming back. Food is unbelievably delicious.

   Visited last night with a large party of people. The table was booked for 6.30pm and immediately as we sat down we were told we had to vacate the table by 8pm. Having only an hour and a half to eat a meal isn’t a lot of time when you’re in a group of 12 or so people and we had no time for desserts. When I gave this feedback to our waiter I was told (dare I say, in a rather defensive manner) that our table had been booked for 6.15pm and it was our fault because we had arrived late. I was also told that it was policy that each table gets two hours allocated unless there is another booking. My colleague who booked the table later said she had definitely asked for 6.30pm and wasn’t made aware of there being another booking after. I understand that Saturdays are busy and the business will want to take as many diners as possible but I wasn’t impressed with being rushed and lied to about booking times. For this reason we decided to not pay the discretionary service charge. It’s a shame because the pizzas are great but I don’t think we will be visiting again.

   Fantastic food but more importantly fantastic service. Party of 6 and they did all they could for the children which then means a more relaxing meal. We'll be back soon!

   Great place and really nice pizza, but a little disappointed by the fact that our booking was seated 25 minutes late. We had a really nice experience and can’t fault our waiter, Max, but also disappointed that we felt rushed out for the next booking, even when the table next to us had been there for a lot longer. Can’t fault the food nor the service; it was fabulous. It all just seemed a little disorganised.

   Visited here yesterday and it didn't dissapoint! Gorgeous pizza, friendly and efficient service , one of the best I've had. Will definitely be back its so good to have an amazing pizza place here in Macclesfield.
