This is a gem. Amazing food fabulous staff. Sunday roast best I've ever had. Stunning. Restaurant is so cozy and comfortable. A must visit can't wait to go back.

The service is consistently outstanding, and their genuine passion for what they do shines through. The cocktails are nothing short of amazing – perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The menu is extensive, offering something for every taste, yet everything stays true to authentic Italian roots. From the fresh, pizzas to the delicious pastas and decadent desserts, every dish is bursting with flavour and made with love. Dining here is more than just a meal – it’s a full Italian experience, complete with vibrant atmosphere, incredible food, and the kind of service you can’t help but rave about. Best pizza we have had in quite a while. Garlic cheese bread was amazing. This is a must visit.
We eat there fairly regularly, the food and service is always spot on. I recommend the cold meats starter which is more than generous! We actually share this between our family of four before having our main course. To finish it off, they have the finest ice cream with various flavours to choose from
This is a small but rustic and welcoming Italian in Saltdean village. It is easy to park nearby and was very busy when we arrived. We were seated out the back under the canopy which was fine but lacked the lovely rustic atmosphere of the main restaurant and is clearly where they put families with children. Food was wonderful, service great and would definately go again but would ensure i was seated in the main part of the restaurant.
Nice place, nice staff. Toilets were clean. Gave us a choice of tables (we had booked). Table for two is a bit small. Had to ask for more cutlery, as the table was not set for two. Would we go back again ? Yes.
Firstly, there is no reduction of stars, just that i add the extra two on for outstanding reasons A basic three stars should mean good service(it was), broad menu or good specialities(there was). I have been in a few Italian restaurants. They were better with food and the layout was not as cramped. I have nothing derogatory to say about VIP just expect to pay a premium price for an average Italian restaurant. My main advice would be that the tastes of certain foods good be excellent and not just okay.
