I found a favourite and stuck to it so always order the Korean Fried Chicken with Rice (one day Iβll try something new) - but always so happy with the food here. Fresh and piping hot, never had to wait long to be served or for the food, and great service from the team.

This is such a cute, cozy place to get some delicious authentic Korean food! The staff are incredibly kind, the food is made fast, and it always hits the spot when I'm craving fried rice and kimbap. This place puts a more heart into it as it's locally owned, compared to the ones in London and Brighton. Definitely give it a go!

Consistently Great β My Go-To Spot in Eastbourne! Iβve been to Kokoro Eastbourne many times nowβboth for dine-in and takeawayβand it never disappoints. I usually go for the chicken katsu, which is always delicious with a generous portion size and just the right balance of crispy coating and rich curry sauce. The service is excellent every timeβfast, friendly, and efficient. Whether Iβm popping in for a quick bite or sitting down to eat, the staff are always welcoming and the food comes out very quickly. The whole place has a really nice, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal. Itβs definitely become one of my favourite spots in town, and Iβd highly recommend it to anyone looking for tasty, comforting Japanese food at a fair price.

I couldn't be happier with the service and the food offered at this franchise. Out of all the ones I've been to, this one is by far my favorite. Their KFC is the best comfort food ever and their staff is always super friendly and helpful. Totally recommend!!

This was the first time I was upset about this place. I love their chain in London and everywhere there was exceptionally good and fresh food. And here it wasnβt... like amateur sushi and thin slices of strange fish. The rice was also overcooked, and the curry was a bit off. Please make the quality like in London, because I love your sushi so much and would like to have them there too!

One male staff member always makes you feel like you're taking too long and comes across rude. All other staff members are really nice and friendly. Katsu Curry can taste quite watery at times

Had a chicken Teriaki to eat in the restaurant. Service was poor, no cheer at all. Food was mostly onion with just a little bit of chicken. The sauce was nice so that's one saving grace. The actual restaurant has very little atmosphere in there, redolent of a run-down chippy, very bare and bland. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

My wife and I took our 17-month-old son to Kokoro for a quick lunch. It was our first time there and we were pleased with the extensive vegan options. I had the tofu katsu curry but opted for noodles rather than rice as they looked tasty. It was ready in 3 minutes and the regular size was plenty big enough. The carrots were still raw but some people might like that added crunch. My wife went for the veggie rolls vegan sushi and was very happy with her choice. Our son thoroughly enjoyed some spring rolls and chips. With a couple of drinks it cost Β£22 but worth every penny. The lady who greeted us was friendly and very accommodating, making sure we were happy and had all we needed throughout our visit. We will definitely be returning!

Very much enjoyed our lunch here. Good sized portions, well balanced and delicious. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff were friendly and informative.

Tiny portions compared to the Brighton and London stores. Bowls filled 80% with rice, and hardly any chicken. If you are used to the Brighton and London stores where you get a minimum of 50% meat, you should avoid this store as you will be disappointed. I suspect that the franchise owner is stretching portions to increase profits. I will be informing kokuro Ltd headquarters of the breach of franchise agreement at this location.
