Me and my friend came here for a very late lunch/early dinner. Very welcoming, very clean, got seated and served quickly. Massive portions great value for money, definitely exceeded our expectations. 10/10 would recommend! :) we shall be back!
Lovely dining experience. The food is wonderful, freshly prepared (even picked the rosemary from the bush behind us to add to our pizza) and really good value. It's so pretty, we sat in the rear outside courtyard. With the music and the friendly staff, certainly didn't feel like I was in the middle of Kingsthorpe. Can't wait to come back again. Thank you to the team for looking after us so well.
Immediately after entering I was surprised by a much larger space than I was expecting and a beautiful and cozy atmosphere. Happy with my choice for the day I was only proven right after lovely interactions with friendly staff going out of their way to make your visit a lovely one. After lots of thinking and digging deep in the memory drawers, I can honestly say that they serve the tastiest pizza that I've had in this country! Couldn't recommend more and will be coming back.
Delicious food, excellent new chef, very friendly and attentive service. The Italian-style quiches are really tasty, and had been freshly made just as we arrived in for lunch. The Funghi pizza and Fish Special were lovely.
Finally, we visited the Sofra cafe. Thank you for the pleasant service, everything was very tasty. Nice environment, clean, reasonable prices.
This Mediterranean Deli used to serve amongst one of the best pizzas and panini’s I’ve ever eaten anywhere in Europe. I don’t say that lightly and I’ve really enjoyed going there several times. Today I was shocked, what’s happened? To start with I was served luke warm coffee even though I asked for an Americano with hot milk added. Okay no big deal as none of those cafe chains apart from Bewitched ever get it correct. Then it got real bad real quick, the usual spicy salami, mushroom and cheese panini was replaced with what I’m sorry to say was completely uneatable. Burnt panini with the requested ingredients but with lettuce and onion added. Despite being badly burnt on the outside the ingredients were barely warm. The cheese in my partners wasn’t even melted through. Disgusting food and the attitude of the chief wasn’t much better. His reasoning is… he serves many a day and everyone else has been happy. What this chief fails to understand is often people in the UK don’t complain, they just won’t go back, period. I was trying to help this guy as I don’t like the thought of any business not working, least of all somewhere that me and my friends really enjoyed. I still have a burnt taste in my mouth despite only eating one mouth full, drinking the coffee and driving across town to get home.
We came to visit our son who's currently sorted the Northampton University. So we went for some food and chose Sofora. Great place..absolutely brilliant food at very reasonable prices. Great customer service and the cannolis were great. Thank you
