Great Service and cost. All of the food we got was amazing. It was the first time I have tried Cow Tongue and it ended up being my favourite dish, try it even if it seems a bit wierd to you.
Nice restaurant with a comfy atmosphere, good table service. We came on a busy Saturday night, it took roughly 20min to 30min to wait for the food to be served. Please note that the food will be served straight from the grill, so the food does come individually. Overall, the food is amazing, well marinated and cooked, but sometimes the waiting time between the dishes is a bit long. Although all the dishes are excellent, I do believe one of my sides was being served wrongly on the table beside us and I was told to wait for another 15min for the side where I finished my meal 10min ago........ For a starter, we have the stonebass Tataki and the beef tartare. My favourite is definitely the beef tartare. It was a well seasoned, nice starter. The stonebass tataki was neatly presented. I like the seaweed wrap outside of the stonebass. For the main, we have meatball, liver, heart, aubergine, salmon and beef tongue. I was really impressed with the beef tongue. It was chewy but tender! Love it! Definitely need to try the beef tongue!

First time for us, and we quite enjoyed it. Our friends suggested it as one of them lived in Japan and having been before said it was very authentic. Imagine Japanese tapas style. We ordered as a group and shared bits and pieces as well as having a donburi between each couple. Portions were restrained as you'd imagine, and some items felt a little overpriced and underwhelming (chicken tender) while others were excellent (see photo of the Japanese take on tiramisu). Service was friendly. Overall 4 stars, a bit of fun, and some highspots but we won't rush back.
You have to try the Bonjiri Yakitori - tastes just like it does in Japan! Good selection of booze. Nice to see Kirin on tap too. Highly recommended
Utterly incredible. Shot straight to my number 1 place to eat in Norwich! It's already tough enough finding somewhere to eat Japanese food in the first place let alone to this high standard. I cant think of the words, we just had an incredibly delicious time. Go and eat here, you deserve it!
