We arrived 6pm on a Thursday. No waiting for a table. Food was very good and plenty of it. Parking can be difficult but we had a space right outside. There is a multi storey car park just up road near railway station but there are usually spaces on street.
Popped in for lunch on a Saturday and we weren’t disappointed. Bento boxes and a couple of extras on the side. Delicious and fresh. The grilled eel nigiri was fantastic. The mixed tempura and gyoza were lovely. Even the salad had the most delicious dressing. Definitely would recommend and will definitely be back.
We have been on Tuesdays and Thursdays early evenings a few times now. Every time the food has been perfect. Good value and tasty. It’s quiet at these times but we like the fact we don’t have to shout to each other ☺️
A nice Japanese restaurant owned by a Chinese. Good service and reasonably priced. 10% off discount for students.
Very authentic and delicious tasting Japanese food. Been to fair few Asian restaurants in the area and this one stands out. Decor was perhaps a bit dated and garish, but the food made up for it by far. It was noticeably cheaply priced too, with most dishes being in the area of £8 to £9 which is very good value for money!! Highly recommend for anyone.
Excellent food, lovely family-run establishment. We go here regularly as we enjoy the chilled-out atmosphere and extensive menu. There are great options on the menu for children and many vegetarian dishes to enjoy.

We had an amazing lunch here. The food was heavenly, and the waiter very helpful. As he was the only person in on that day, and he was also preparing the food, his high level of service is even more impressive! Would highly recommend, and will come back!
