Visit was ruined by extremely rude member of staff (blonde woman). We were just struggling to find the scale to place items after scanning at the self service when she shouted to us from the till ‘no other side, no up, bloody hell!’. Very unprofessional

Don’t often leave reviews but was pretty appalled at the service today. South Asian Male worker that served me at the till needs to work on his poor attitude. Seemed to be in a rush and just generally incompetent as he wasn’t confident at his job. Asked to collect SOME parcels, yet he snatched my ID from my hand and came back with a single one. Told him that I have another, he responds with “two?” And I tell him “yes, two MORE others”, then he comes back with just one again. All while he’s doing this, my parcels and ID is being lazily flung on the counter. He checks the phone to confirm all the parcels (which he should have done in the first place), asks if I have three parcels then huffs and looks annoyed walking to the back again to collect it. He takes ages and couldn’t find it, quickly tells me that his colleague is looking for it and then tells me to move out the way. No patience for his own mess up whatsoever. Just unbelievably rubbish customer service. Luckily, the service was saved by a younger staff with red hair. Lovely, lovely girl and redeemed the whole experience for me at the end. Overall, the place needs to work on training some of their staff members on manners and competence.

avoid this tesco if you have any basic human decency. im giving this tesco express one star and honestly that's being generous. the store itself its quite good but in all honesty the experience is completely ruined by a certain staff member. a rude, older blonde woman who seems to be against anyone who isnt her. school students in particular. the first time I went in with a few friends, she tried to kick us out for no reason when we were lookinh for something to eat. the second time, as soon as we walked in she started whispering to another worker while staring at us. when we left we simply smiled at her and she claimed that we were smirking at her and she continues to tell us off in tje middle of the shop. seriously, at your big age? we were just trying to be friendly. its like she gets joy out of being unpleasant. and it's not just the rudeness. it's the straight up unprofessionalism of it all. to treat two young innocent girls like how she did is beyond embarrassing, both for the staff member and for tesco. it makes you wonder about the kind of training ,or lack of haha that employees receive. if this is how they treat customers, it reflects poorly on tje whole business . i hope someone takes care of these repeated incidents and issues before more people are driven away bc you just lost four loyal customers.

Apart from the fact that there isn't really enough room in this store for me to go in with my mobility scooter so I have to leave it outside and use my walking stick instead, it's still fairly easy to get around in it. (Unless you go in at lunchtime, when it's usually full of students, office workers and other hungry people.

Very busy on a chilly early December Saturday afternoon. Customers picking up lunch items and Christmas shopping. Good range with the shelves being restocked as I shopped. Plenty of bargain reduced items. All together a nice small city centre Tesco.

Lovely, cheerful security staff at the door that welcome you in and out, the actual tesco staff could learn from them, good array of stock, never too busy

I am very great full and totally impressed for the very helpful and friendly people working in this store, I work near by and always find lovely welcoming member of staff always willing to help. But I was even more impressed when I approached the manager to enquire if they could in any way, help me with my charity event to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. The very kind gentlemen who manages the store donated baking ingredient (as I suggested) to make the event possible. We made £290.44 all to help people going through breast cancer. Thank you so much for your donation. X
