   Angela, working in men’s shoes, was really helpful today (07/12/25), we were looking for some specific shoes. She could easily have said “oh, all the stock is out”, but she went over and above to help looking all over the store and in the store room, she then kindly ordered them on line for us. Great service Angela and M&S.

   Today, went to M&S in Norwich to buy a coat which was out of stock online, but store stock said they got only one item in a size I wanted. I looked around and around but still could not locate it in the big store. Nick from M&S went above and beyond when I asked his help while he was arranging the jeans. He found the one and only coat and brought it to me. Thank you, Nick!

   Really nice, clean store with super helpful staff. One member of staff noticed I was a bit lost and came over to offer help without me even asking. She pointed me to the seafood section so I could buy mussels – wish I’d caught her name as she really went above and beyond. The food is always great quality. I picked up some sourdough bread too, which was lovely. Highly recommend this store.

   My daughter took me to the cafe and I orders cappuccino and to my surprise when I took the lid off! Half a cup!! For the price would have been nice to have a full cup!

   The Food Hall is Excellent. Good all the time, but if you want to browse, best visited outside lunchtime, when it is heaving with people buying lunch and at school closing time, when it gets in the youngsters looking for snacks for their journey home.

   The first floor cafe is absolutely shocking at the moment.Queyed up 30 minutes for a large decaf Latte and after eventually being served was given a regular Latte! Needs two baristas when busy,many tables not cleaned and cleared and to many students who were ambling about and in no urgency to get the queue down.When are the management going to make some improvements here this has been going on for weeks,shame on you M&S

   M&S have a decent menswear section covering everyday essentials. You may pay a bit more than in the budget shops, but that's matched by the quality. There's also a compact food hall, featuring a decent selection of lunch items. And a cafe on the ground floor, which is nice and spacious. The staff are always courteous. And there are a pair of lifts if escalators aren't accessible for you.

   Large store and will generally have what you need if what you need is an m&S item. Has a decent well lite little cafe too and located right in the middle of town.

3. MCS McDonagh ★★★★☆

   Came in on 05.10.2021 to have look at the Halloween food. Not a large selection but enough for one evening. Was delighted to see some Christmas chocolates and gin! Sale is still on upstairs on 2nd floor (ladies wear, Per Una section). Didn't really look but there are lots of winter coats and boots. This shop is so handy as it is open until 8pm every day (except Sunday).
