   Lota of parking, large store. No self checkout so have to queue with people doing large shops when you only need a couple of items

   Just can’t beat the Lidl bakery - I prefer Aldi overall, but the bakery is something Aldi are missing. Really wish they would get with the times and get self checkouts though as I have put back a single item I popped in for as the queues are ridiculously long.

   Only required one item today as I was passing. Lurpak butter which was much cheaper than in Tesco. I would say by as much as £2 I did have a wander around and I will be calling back to buy Silentnight duvet and pillows as again they were at a bargain price

   A nice shop, and the staff have always been absolutely lovely, always a smile and a chat, however the store seems to be seriously understaffed at times recently, can’t understand how there only seems to be 2 or 3 people on at a time to man the tills as well as everything else?

   Popped in here just to pick up a sandwich (never been in there before), but it was a really pleasant experience. The shelves were full and tidy, the aisles were clear (compared to other Lidl stores, where they are full of empty pallets and boxes). And the staff on the till were very chatty and engaged.

   Just seen another investigation showing Lidl Chickens in horrendous conditions. Using genetically engineered chickens that grow too big and too fast leaving them unable to even stand. Cruel and unjust. Lidl needs to sign the Better Chicken Commitment like many other supermarkets! I certainly will not be shopping there again. #LidlChickenScandal

   After seeing the shocking footage from Lidl's chicken supplier in Germany, I can no longer shop here. Lidl have got to adopt the Better Chicken Commitment so that we can be assured that they are not selling chicken bred and kept in awful welfare conditions.

   Having seen footage filmed recently on chicken farms that supply Lidl, I have serious concerns for their welfare. As long as Lidl continues to sell this type of chicken, I will not be shopping here. Lidl France have already pledged to stop the use of these fast-growing chickens and Lidl UK should too.

   Great produce at even better prices. I regularly stop in here on my way past for some of the bargain buys, especially the really good quality tools. Towards Christmas they have some extra special foods which are well worth the money.
