I love M&S Food but the dates are always rubbish normally only for use on the day you're visiting. You pay premium so you expect premium.
On the plus size the lady at the cafe who was managing everything was very pleasant indeed. Not enough staff so waiting for 10-15 mins to be served a coffee. Couldn’t have either a scone or pastry as they were uncovered and consequently had been walked all over by flies. The lady at the counter apologised and said she would feed back to management. Tables and floor dirty and cafe is indeed freezing cold. Must remember to not return here and to get a coffee in The Range next time.
Just went in today to get some scones and the fridge covers were shut. I know sometimes shops do this to keep things cold, so I went in to get some clotted cream. At the point a M&S worker approaches in a highviz and goes these are closed for a reason in a aggressive tone. I said oh sorry wasnt fully aware as there is no sign. Maybe instead of being rude and talking to someone aggressively you just put a simple sign saying out of order please do not use.
Person behind counter ignored us for a while I was ready to walk out before being served tables and sitting area not cleared up. Not a great experience .
What ever happened to service with smile ,staff are so misserable
My first time here. Went straight to the cafe, usual cafe drinks and simple food, tukey and bacon toasties with chips (£2 extra) were reasonably priced. Member of staff at the counter was a bit too efficient but the lady who brought the food to our table and was very pleasant. Let my daughter have a high chair for her dolly and brought sauces etc over. Tables were wiped down and cleared as soon as someone left. Cafe was popular and clean. Would reutrn as it was a very relaxed atmosphere.
50% off through all of august!!! Monday-wednesday. Around £2,50 for a slice of carrot cake and a large Cappuccino. Bargain!!!
Amazing range of high quality food and wine produce. Amazing including gluten free. Staff all it the little old blind one on the phone to her mates amazing .dropped a stat for that as when I asked her a question she still.had her.mate on the her mobile.organizing drinks pooop
