   Visited recently and left rather underwhelmed. The space itself has charm, but the coffee simply didn’t live up to it — thin, flat, and lacking any depth of flavour. For the price, I expected something with a bit more care and character. The staff were polite enough, but the whole experience felt more style than substance. Plenty of better cups to be found nearby!

   The customer service was extremely poor, if I could give 0 Stars I would. I visited the restaurant with my family for the first time and the employee taking my order was unhelpful and had a hostile attitude. After ordering food and drinks worth £55, we went to our table. The staff brought our hot drinks before our food. When I requested that they be served after our food, the employee responded aggressively, stating that “we can’t read your minds.” I explained that we had ordered our food first and our drinks after and that the food should be served in the order it was ordered. The employee ignored my request and left. After waiting 20 minutes, our food was served incorrectly. We informed the staff and they responded that it was what we had ordered. Fortunately, I had requested a receipt at the time of ordering and presented it to the staff, explaining that the food had been served incorrectly. The staff acknowledged the receipt but offered no apology. During the wait, our food became cold. A dog was present in the cafe and the same staff member who had served our food was stroking the dog. This raised concerns about the hygiene standards and it had put me off my food. This was my first and last visit to the cafe. I should have read the reviews before deciding to go here as I was clearly not the first customer to experience such poor service.

   Lovely day today, stumbled on to this beautiful peaceful place in the heart of bedford. £12 lunch for 1 person includes drink I think that price was perfect. Portion size is good too. CHAI LATTE WAS AMAZING. They also had wifi and clean toilets.

   Great coffee and paninis. I’ve been here countless times and their consistency has stood the rest of time to becoming a well established and loved cafe in Bedford! I love the cosy interior and look forward to a hot chocolate in the cold winter months ahead. They have gluten free and vegan/plant-based options available.

   Great coffee and very nice home made cake. I found the place very funky. It is very unusual style. Great music playing on the PA system. More of a place for walkers and casual passers by, rather than formal meeting place.
