Excellent Sunday roast, very generous portion, tender turkey, interesting veg. £20 for a main but absolutely delicious and good service too, while the side of cauli cheese deserves a shout out. Our second visit now having had fish & chips & the burger previously, and we'll go again. Too warm for 5 out of 5 on the atmosphere rating!

What a fantastic experience! I had the Surf & Turf – a perfect combination of tender rump steak and juicy king prawns. It was served on a thick slice of toasted white bread, bursting with flavour. I honestly don’t know how the chef pulls this off, but it truly deserves five stars. The restaurant itself is cosy and welcoming, and you can also enjoy a lovely meal outside at the front. Highly recommended!

Unbelievable food. You can really tell that the staff care about the quality of the food they serve. If you live in the area or are visiting, this is a must-try. Good energy in the kitchen and you can tell by the flavours! I’ve worked in food & wine industry for a good while and I was blown away by the food presentation, quality of ingredients, and the service. It was hard to choose what to order; luckily my table was keen to share lots of small plates. I would highly recommend sharing a few things. I will absolutely return to try more of the breakfast & daytime menu. Great wine options also. I was told that they update the menu regularly with seasonal ingredients so I’m very excited to keep visiting!

We popped in for a quick breakfast on a Saturday morning. We ordered the Barbican Bun and Eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. ❤️ Simple flavours yet they complimented each other so well. The staff were very friendly. Docking a star for the atmosphere as downstairs seating can get a bit busy with seats a little too close to each other. No other faults. Overall, highly recommend and we will definitely be back to try out more :)

Came here for lunch after I was told about this place. First impression; "small but nice", friendly staff, coffee was great. I had one of of their specials (Korean BBQ pork), sooo good. Would recommend. ^w^

Found this gem by accident, recommended by an adjacent business. So happy we did, lovely welcoming owners, the best coffee, delicious smoked salmon, kale and leek swirls and incredible pistachio cake. Can't wait to visit again, loved it.

Stopped by for early lunch. A brilliant decision. I had fresh cooked pancakes, one of us had a filled roll using their own bread, and the third had a pear cake, all delicious. And we were given a great welcome. If you have tea, be aware the teapots are heavy!
