Came to Hong Buffet in Luton, Bedfordshire for lunch recently when we were having a day out in Luton as it seemed to have good reviews online and we are glad we did. From the moment we walked in we quickly noticed and was impressed by the beautiful hand crafted decor of the restaurant which makes it extra comfortable and cozy. In regards to the food itself theres lots to choose from, Chinese,Italian to Indian most are tasty and soothing to the palette.Just wish Italian section had more variety though except for those plain pizzas which tasted like frozen pizzas. Tikka masala was a bit dry and mongolian meat could do with more fat trimming but apart from that all other parts of Asian cuisine was spot on. Everything else was cooked fresh, fried rice, and all variety of sauces were very nice. Especially liked and recommend the sweet and sour sauce. Spring rolls and shrimps were crisp and nice too. From cakes to fruits dessert also has a variety to choose from and each is fresh and tastes good. The staff are all super helpful and always collected the plates when we were finished, there was no wait for a table because thereβs so much seating area in the restaurant. Was clean all throughout toilets inclusive of course! which I was very impressed by. Prices are also decent for standard buffet with drinks inclusive which is also a bonus! Restaurant location is easy to find and easily accessible.

Nice decor, came late and alot of things were finished. There were no chopsticks to eat sushi or straws for drinks. The icecream scoops were in dirty water, don't think anyone checks or tidies up between sittings as tables were dirty. Lots of kids running around making mess. The food is okay, lots of choice, better than alot of buffets but staff and service is poor. Didn't get any dessert as not labelled and I have nut allergies, no staff around to ask they were busy cleaning up to close but it was still early.

If youβre looking for an inexpensive, all-you-can-eat meal and arenβt fussy, this place does the job. The place is clean but lacks personality β more function than flair. The layout is typical: Chinese and Indian cuisine, salad bar, a few token sushi rolls, teppanyaki and a soft-serve machine in the corner. Service was polite but minimal, which is expected for buffet style. But if youβre a foodie chasing depth, authenticity, or freshness, youβll likely leave underwhelmed. Mediocre β not offensive, just forgettable.

Overall, it's worth the money! Thereβs a wide variety of dishes available, and they were consistently refilled, which was great to see during busy hours. However, I was a bit disappointed with the live cooking counter. There was only one young lady handling it all on her ownβshe was clearly trying her best, but it just wasnβt enough to keep up with the demand at such a large and busy buffet. More staff at the live counter would really improve the experience.

This was my first time visiting Hong Buffet and was pleasantly surprised. It is a very reasonable price of Β£25 for unlimited food, deserts and soft drinks. The food variety is great and the quality of the food was lovely some really great dishes that we both loved, it isn't a fine dining experience by any means but cheerful and pleasant place with great food!

Certainly the best restaurant outside London, fantastic food and environment for family, friends gathering and parties. plenty space, all sorts of food styles and umlimited drinks allow children to fully explore their freedom and decision making. Along with unbelievable low prices make it an ideal venue for kids or anyoneβe birthday parties. the quality of the food is beyond spectacular, sushi, indian curry, genuine Chinese, some of these you will never find from any Chinese takeaways. love it, so i support it with my long comments.

Nice place to have family and friends especially for a free meal when it's your birthday! Could do more and the front ground floor. Food looks good but family felt a lot of salt was added for a lot of flood. They could but a strap paper for entry and like a golden one for birthday single person like the dragon! Toilet needed maintenance too.

Nice looking canteen style venue. I believe they have 300 seats. The food was above average. I enjoyed the food that I picked. Around Β£20 each entry, which includes drinks. They have section where the make the food to order on the spot.
