   Yet again I am visiting another Indian restaurant while I'm away. The Viceroy is a small welcoming restaurant that has won awards in 2024. I do believe they should win them again. The staff are pleasant and helpful which made the exceptional food even better. I had popadoms with chutneys and couldn't believe it when 7 different chutneys came out. I had the stuffed pepper which was very nice and perfectly cooked. For my main I had nilgiri chicken narungi. Wow if you like naga chilli flavour but without the extreme heat, this s the one for you. If I were staying longer I would definitely be back to try something else. Great service and great food. Well done the viceroy, not a lot in this town but this curry house shined.

   Ordered for delivery using their own website. Set the delivery time with a 90 min delay for 7:30pm and it arrived exactly when we asked. Food hot and delicious with good portion sizes. Non meat eaters loved the quorn masala.

   Great selection of meals and sides. My chosen dish was well presented and very tasty. The Viceroy isn't licensed for drinks but allows you to bring your own. There is however an off licence approx 100 metres walk away.

   The food was just perfect light aromatic and perfectly spiced. The chef’s special was delicious and the menu has everything you would wish for in an Indian restaurant. Very clean and the staff very attentive… we shall return when passing through. This is a very good standard of Indian food.

   I have been using this restaurant for years but recently the food has not been to a high standard for the price . The curry I have been eating for a very long time has been tasteless and watery . Also the photos show how a takeaway arrived to me . Then the restaurant accused me of doing it deliberately to get a free meal however , I had already played for it. They actually expected us to eat it out of the bag . The manager did send us another meal in the end and said it was a gesture of good will . Then told us not to bother ordering from them in the future .
