   Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! We had haddock cooked to order and it was ready pretty fast with the batter crisped to perfection, amazing prices and friendly staff and a bloody good fish and chips! Will definitely be coming back again next time we’re in new haven

   Had a wonderful day today at Ashford Shopping Centre, I like to go there at least once a year to check the bargains as it is a great place to do Christmas shopping. The Fred Perry shop is excellent value. On the way home, we visited Horace’s chip shop as we were hungry after a long day of shopping at Ashford Shopping Centre with the excellent Fred Perry shop, and we was greeted by such friendly faces, true family unity. We made a large order consisting of lots of different items, ranging from sausages,to chips, to onion rings. I am writing this review after just consuming this, and I can honestly say I have only just returned back from the fifth dimension. Absolutely Michelin starred level of goods produced, all for a price that would even be affordable to the homeless community after a heavy day of busking down Seaford Beach. The food was almost ready before I even tapped my contactless card, it was almost like I shared a telepathic connection with the owner who knew what I was going to order and already had it ready because he knew I was coming, on my way back from the Ashford shopping Centre. I have since set fire to my Christmas tree in the garden. Thank you.

   It would be five but as of yet I have not tried the amazingly price under a fiver cod or haddock. That’s right, less than £5 for fish and chips. Small bag of chips, small they ain’t, just £1. I thought the quality would be poor due to the pricing but it isn’t. As good as Chippie around for chips….more reviews on fish to come, but I have partaken of the chips and the saveloys over the past years when a little inebriated and hungry…it was good then and it’s just as good now. The owner/cook seems pleasant enough and the staff are about as friendly as one can expect these days.
