We arrived late in the evening at Premier Inn Spitfire with our two children and quickly realised we hadn’t booked a family room by mistake! Kate was absolutely amazing — she couldn’t have been more helpful. She immediately rearranged our booking and even went the extra mile to make up an additional bed herself to ensure we were all comfortable. Her kindness and professionalism really made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you, Kate for turning our evening around — we’re so grateful for your help and wonderful service!

Just spent a night at the 'Spitfire' Premier Inn, Stafford. Stay was to the standard advertised & expected, although no capacity for hot breakfast due to a restaurant refurb BUT crossed the road & used 'Hurricane' Premier Inn & breakfasted there! I'd mention Sharon on reception at Spitfire who was genuinely welcoming when we first arrived & couldn't do enough to help us (to locate earlier arrived friends, direct us to a wedding venue & advise re local taxi's etc. Such a lovely lady).

Very nice stay, good location easy access to M6. Friendly staff, comfy bed and clean room. Quiet location, lots of parking and 10mins drive to Stafford town centre. Only negative was the restaurant waited around 5minutes to be seated totally ignored by 2 staff members. Was expensive so better off eating elsewhere.

Disappointing stay. First room had a TERRIBLE smell. Second room, window catch was broken and curtain was hanging off. Drain in bath partially blocked, with black bits pouring into the bath when tap turned on. Very slow to empty. Air conditioning in breakfast room very fierce, so food instantly cold. Spoke to Jayne who was lovely and very helpful. She had told managers about this problem, but it was not acted on. Kim kindly made us fresh eggs as the two remaining eggs were very hard and cold. Bacon cremated under the hot lights.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Spitfire and had an overall excellent experience. The hotel is clean, modern, and offers the high standards of comfort you’d expect from Premier Inn. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had a very comfortable bed, ensuring a good night’s sleep—at least for most of it! The location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travellers. The on-site restaurant served a fantastic breakfast with plenty of options, and the evening menu was equally enjoyable. Unfortunately, I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the room above, which was a bit disruptive. It seemed like heavy footsteps or furniture being moved, which wasn’t ideal. That said, I appreciate that this isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, and I’m sure if I had raised it, the staff would have been happy to help. Overall, Premier Inn Spitfire is a great place to stay, offering excellent value for money. I’d definitely return—perhaps with a request for a top-floor room next time!

My husband & I have stayed in many premier inns over the years & this one by far is the best!! As soon as you walk into reception you are greeted by friendly welcoming staff. Becky is an absolute asset to the company and always goes above & beyond to make our stay relaxing & comfortable from the minute we arrive until the moment we leave. The rooms are always spotlessly clean & well maintained. We have stayed over the road at the other premier inn the Hurricane when the spitfire is fully booked but it hasn’t got a patch on this one or the staff. I would 100% recommend the spitfire if you are looking for somewhere to stay.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Dropped a start on the room because the curtains were a little threadbare. Otherwise fantastic stay. The reception staff were fantastic.

Always stay at the Spitfire when travelling North - have done so for years. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast has lots of choice and is cooked to order. Hypnos bed is just wonderful. Spotlessly clean room and facilities. Ten out of ten.

The location was great for what I needed, staff were lovely & friendly. My room was ground floor so I had a wet room instead of a normal bathroom & other features obviously meant for those with additional needs which was fine. Decor was a little tired but clean & lots of room in the bedroom. For the price & that I had booked last minute it was great.
