Always prefer this Macdonald's to any others in the area. The staff are more respectful, they take better care when putting your order together, the restaurant is always clean and well looked after.
AVOID!!! We arrived here for breakfast. I asked for a bacon roll with ketchup sauce. They have given me all in one wrap it had bacon egg and a hash brown in it. It looked absolutely disgusting!!! Such poor service by the drive thru window as a young girl and a middle aged bloke were messing us about as they said it was cash only but then the girl said the card machine are back running again as they had issues with them. NEVER COMING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!
Advertising monopoly event however stopped handing out the packaging days before the event has ended. Miss leading considering part of the incentive to try out other meals during the event is for the stickers, to then open up the bag and find out nothing has the stickers on yet the screen 10 foot away from the window advertises it. If they’ve ran out of packaging fair enough but don’t continue miss leading customers without notice
Once again they have gone beyond all expectations. The night crew are really helpful and a joy to order from. No fuss.
Food was nice and hot went at 9.50am lots of staff very quiet. Used the toilets how dirty were the toilets hate to know when they had a deep clean the grim and dust terrible. I said to a man a member of staff said the toilets are disgusting dusty and asked when was the last time they had a deep or a clean. He didn't knowledge me once not when even at the start . Won't be using this place again..
As McDonald's go, this is my preferred branch. Purely for the fact they always have Milk Shakes on, whereas so many other branches don't always have them available, due to issues with there machines. I find the food is always hot and the chips always seem nice and crispy, instead of luke warm and limp from sitting around for awhile. There will always be an area for improvement with McDonald's but for the price you pay, I suppose we shouldn't complain really ...
Very popular as you hit it coming out of Neath or Swansea going into Port Talbot. Car park is small and tight - watch when you turn out of the car park as you have to adjust to avoid hit traffic coming in or queuing for drive through. Food and service generally very good.
Booked take away through app. Super easy. Went in drive through to collect it after confirming arrival in app. Food was not ready, so had to park in,till they finish the prep and bought it to the car. Ordered through app to save time, but didn't matter much as had to wait the same amount of time. Order was only for 2 burgers. Good thing is that they have vegan options now.
Drive thru queues in excess of 20 mins, then told to “park up” for another 15 mins after being served. Obviously the Uber orders are more important than regular customers as I counted the same Uber delivery guy arrive and leave three times with three different orders. On another visit, got turned away due to “updating their systems at midnight.McDonald’s is no longer “Fast food”.
Probably one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had. Ordered a big tasty with no bun and no tomato. I was given a burger patty with lettuce and tomato. No cheese, no sauce, no onions. The person who served us at the drive through appeared to say "f you," in place of thank you after taking payment. We also ordered 20 chicken nuggets with sauce and mozzarella sticks with tomato relish. We weren't provided with any sauces. The queue was almost onto the road, so we decided to go into the main entrance rather than attempt to drive around again. In front of us were no fewer than 3 people who had also had their orders badly mixed up. When we showed the staff member at the front counter our order, she looked at us like we had two heads for ordering with no bun in the first place. Eventually everything was exchanged but the whole experience was just so unpleasant. The chips were also stone cold and very greasy. The staff were all very young, which makes me think it's a money saving exercise as minimum wage is much lower for under 18s. But I had to wonder where management was to allow this to happen. I included a picture of the box that says no tomato with a tomato pointing out of the side. After this experience I certainly won't be going back nor can I recommend it to others.
