From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. We rang the bell for service (since no maître d’ was in sight), and were met with silence. The patient queue had grown in number and the line went out the door. After a second attempt and an extended wait, we gave up and wandered in ourselves to find the place sparsely occupied. A server eventually appeared, oozing indifference, and handed us a menu – dirty and barely held together. Classy. We ordered through the app, naively hoping this might save time. It didn’t. Twenty minutes just to be seated, followed by a further forty before anything resembling food appeared. Remember, they we not anywhere near at capacity. First came the pancakes – stale, dry, and utterly joyless. Ten minutes later, the burgers turned up, accompanied by a three-quarters-full soda that looked like it had been topped up with disappointment. The cheeseburger? A tragedy in a bun. The only redeeming feature was the freshness of the lettuce, which at least reassured us that someone in the building had seen a vegetable in the last week. The fries/ chips were decent. The whole ordeal was a pointless waste of money, time, and calories. Denny’s Swansea is the dining equivalent of an endurance test: you go in full of hope and leave with nothing but regret. Do yourself a favour and steer clear – you’ll thank me later.

For a little slice of Americana, this place is not bad. My mac 'n' cheese burger could have done with more mac 'n' cheese, but other than that it was good. Service started off very well, with a warm welcome. However, once we were seated, we were pretty much forgotten about and had to constantly flag down the staff for refills. Not the best place I've ever been and not the worst either.

America reaches Swansea as this is the only Denny's in the UK. Menu choice and quality are exactly as you would expect in relation to fast food, although a slight anglicised twist for the UK pallet. Service was fantastic. There is plenty of free parking for 2 hours, but registering your vehicle in the restaurant extends the parking to 4 hours free. Great taste of America without the flight!

Finally, I got to try this restaurant after visiting the ones in America. Food was really nice and decent potion sizes. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant was lacking atmosphere with the booths being quite high, so that's all you could see. It's definitely worth a visit if you're a fan of Dennys.

I don't know where to start.... the food here is epic! Been here twice in under 2 weeks!! Restaurant is massive. Clean and tidy both times. Going back next week! I love how you can order food on the app, it's quick and easy. Food and drinks always come out quick. Never waited more than 15 minutes or so! Staff are lovely, chefs are amazing. I would highly recommend Denny's! They're milkshakes are by far, the best I've ever had. So tasty!!

I love Denny’s in the US, so I thought lets check the UK one out. The layout, furniture, decor, atmosphere etc is almost the same. The menu has less items. Unfortunately there are no classic dinner options. Only burgers, sandwiches, pancakes, waffles and desserts. There isna huge opportunity here to extend the menu. The food was very nice. You order on your phone on the app, there is no table service. As such I guess the owner wants to save on staff cost. On a Saturday evening there was one lady working in the lobby. She was very nice and friendly. As there was only one person working, service was slow. We waited long for the mains, but after that I ordered dessert and it took 30 minutes to bring out a slice of pie. This needs to be addressed. So quicker service and more dinner options, other that great and glad to see Denny’s in the UK.

Came here today during rush hour. We was luckily seated right away although it did seem the staff was under pressure. Food was beautiful. Some of the nicest chips I've had with a cheese sauce. Yum! The BBQ bacon cheeseburger was delicious with a toasted bun! Wish I could empty my stomach and enjoy it all again. Also had a Nutella milkshake. Feel like was rather small for the price, but still tasted great! Would come again!

Great food! Random road trip brought us down to Swansea, we left the b&b without breakfast so starving on arrival. So many places to choose from to eat on the retail park, it's been a while since I've eaten in a Dennys. We were seated straight away, chose quickly from the great menu of all sorts catered for and easily ordered ourselves on the app. We were told a 40 min wait for food, but it only took 15 mins. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was quickly delivered hot, fresh, tasty and plentiful. We couldn't eat it all so boxed up the pancakes to take home. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
