   I went for a Christmas meal with my nan and her friends who are all elderly, their service was outstanding they offered to come to the table to take their orders which i was really impressed with as you don’t see that much these days and as my nan has arthritis and shouldn’t be walking too much i was thrilled with this. The staff were kind and very hospitable. The food was big portions and delicious. Last minute a few of us decided to change our pre order and they were very accommodating I highly recommend this establishment :)

   We arrived without booking for a table of 7 (two of which were wheelchair users) greeting was super friendly and we were given a table! The restaurant soon filled up but the level of service didn’t drop! Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was delicious, definitely our new regular lunchtime venue!

   Excellent food and desserts, strong family atmosphere, great service, polite and patient staff. Been twice this year, first time was very good, second absolutely stunning, very happy on both occasions! Dinner as a family of 4, 2 children, 2 adults.

   Food is excellent though waiting for our table and food to table took around an hour! Worth waiting for. Some food was not available but a few customers weren't told so, two chicken dinners didn't come with stuffing as advertised and it wasn't mentioned when food came, table next to us ordered pork and lamb and he had a plate of lamb put down with no pork, he had to ask the server who took his plate away and came back with beef and lamb! They where very busy.

   Attended as a group booking, on arrival we were shown to our table by a member of staff and ordered our drinks at the bar area. Shortly after a member of staff took our food order and after a little wait, food arrived for all members of the party and everyone enjoyed. The portion sizes were nice and good tasting food. We then ordered dessert for all members of the party and again, it promptly arrived after a short wait and was of generous portions. Pictured where is the Lotus Cheesecake, Childrens Mac, cheese & fries and a main menu New York Chicken Burger

   Service 5 Food 4 The service was spot on attentive informative smiling faces very helpful the pub was bright spotlessly clean. Now the reason for 4 stats not five all the dishes we had and there were wonderfull bar the chips which were sad they let meals down other than that a very great time was had and I will be returning and would highly recommend The Eagle for day or night eating out .
