Overall, it was good. Good bits: the chicken was fantastic. The menu is fun and experimental but everything on the menu is accessible. The price is fair. Bad bits: 35 mins from arriving to my drink arriving. It was a large party but I only ordered a beer. Not the end of the world but below par. The food, whilst delicious was a faff. It's cute that it was served in a little box but honestly I'd just rather have it on a plate. The vibe is decent but it's VERY humid and claustrophobic when busy. In general the bads are largely outweighed by the good. I'd come back, but on a weeknight when it was quieter.

My favourite restaurant in the world. If you want flavour, there is no better place to go! You will understand when you visit! Cocktails are unreal too, people are wonderful, vibe is cool, simply superb.

Amazing food, fantastic service, and seriously good cocktails everything was spot on. I really enjoyed the Korean chicken , and my husband’s duck was absolutely delicious. Such a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back

I like the location and vibe of this place, and the service was also good. Ordered 8 different dishes to share amongst 4 adults. I'd say 6 is probably enough if you go this route. Prawn skewers was IMO the best dish, followed by the watermelon salad. With some of the other dishes, we found the food over spiced and seasoned. Very strong flavours that overpowered the actual main ingredients. Felt like heartburn on a plate in some cases. I think the kitchen needs to address balancing their dishes better. For example, if one orders chicken, you still want to taste the chicken. Presentation itself is pretty good.

This place is a must visit for Norwich, absolutely incredible, definitely some of the best in the area. Everyone I know loves and raves about XO and rightly so, the venue is lovely along with the staff and the food is reasonably priced considering how good it is. I do wish you could see what’s on the menu when booking or before going as it seems to change often and the website wasn’t up to date when we visited - would only like to know so I can time my next visit to try different menu items

This is a great little restaurant for sharing with a group of friends. However, the place is very small and right, tables are grouped very close together. The ordering system is slightly unusual, they take orders based on sit down time. We arrived and were ready to order, but had to wait around 20 - 25 minutes for our order to be taken because there were other tables who had sat down ahead of us who hadn’t ordered yet. The food service is also quite slow which explains the slow ordering system they’ve put in place to help keep the kitchen manageable. All the dishes were beautifully presented. However the food is hit and miss. If they spent as much time working on the flavours as they do the presentation, this could be award winning! Whipped tofu was absolutely amazing. Very rich, creamy and delicious. This is a must try dish. Cheeseburger wontons is fusion food gone completely wrong. The combination just doesn’t work. Wontons we’re over fried and very dark in colour, avoid this one. Prawn tacos were okay, it’s worth trying but I wouldn’t get it again. Roasted pork was very tender. Deep flavours and big portion size. The Korean fried chicken is overhyped. It’s definitely not authentic flavours where you would expect that classic gochujang spicy sauce. This is a very westernised take on Korean fried chicken. Cool presentation though! Duck fried rice was on the specials, it was okay, but nothing special. These guys take a very liberal approach to the fusion concept and present very westernised versions of classic Asian cuisine. The whipped tofu is definitely the star of the show, if you’re coming here that’s one dish you must try.

Went for lunch with my wife. Food was amazing. Would be nice to serve the full menu and not just a lunch one. Also for some reason we weren't allowed to sit at the tables out the back until it got busy and they had to open it up! Definitely worth a visit though.

Outstandingly unique! We’re out of towners and I’d seen great reviews online so booked a table; I’m so glad we did. Lovely staff, friendly, attentive and helpful with great energy. The food was delicious. Everything was delicious and quite frankly I’m upset we couldn’t eat more to try everything! If we’re back in Norwich we will most definitely return!

Really unique twists on classic south Asian foods - great night out with great service. The music and the atmosphere was very loud, which made it hard to hear the people I was with and the toilets are in an adjoined office building but all things aside it's a very nice restaurant. The photos are the pork belly - delicious.

Best restaurant in Norwich without a doubt. Asian fusion, with powerful character and taste. The dishes are changed regularly and every single one has been brilliant so far. There is always different options in a slightly restricted menu (several items, but all in one page), complete vegan options too. The price is really affordable. Congrats to the cuisine team. In the other hand, the staff is lovely and always attentive. Some love for them too. I would 100% recommended it, possibly call for a reservation as can get extremely busy.
