Attended a pre-booked and pre-ordered Christmas Dinner party for 50 people on Sunday evening. Booked for 6pm so arrived 10min early to find that tables were not set up. 2 staff behind the bar so it took everyone until 7.30pm to pay for food and get a drink. No food had been served by 7.30pm despite someone asking at 7pm for the food to be sent out. By 7.30pm there was still no food so we asked again when we were having the food, only to be met with "do you want it now". When themain course finally arrived both the plates and the food were stone cold. I complained and sent mine back only to be served with a different order twice. My food was a basic turkey dinner and I have food allergies which kitchen were made aware of but they obviously didn't take notice of when I asked for a warm plate of food. I finally received a " warmer" dinner, however the carrots, parsnips and stuffing were inedible, totally rock hard and couldn't even get a knife through the carrots! The other members of the party were also served cold food with inedible vegetables and many of the garnishes of stuffing and bacon wrapped sausage were missing off their plates so we had to do a share around.. I was asked after the main course if I enjoyed my meal so explained that I had not due to it being cold and inedible. This was met with a "sorry about that" and nothing more. The business also wanted to know prior to the day what drinks people wanted, wine, beer etc but despite giving these details, they ran out of wine and had to go out and purchase bottles of wine from the Coop across the road. Clearly this business can't cater cooking and serving for this number of patrons in one go. The food obviously had been sitting in the kitchen going cold for some considerable time and the organisation of the evening and staff numbers totally insufficient. The only redeeming features was the nice atmosphere from the people in the party and the singer, which we booked ourselves. I definitely don't recommend booking a large party of cooked dinners at this establishment.

Brilliant place for a cup of a great coffee in the morning. The food is delicious and the bagels are definitely the best I had in a long time. Vegan options are also a nice touch. Overall a brilliant little spot to spend some time in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy your food.

It's Saturday ballet which can only mean one thing, exploring cafes. Today I thought I'd give the Bluebell cafe a try. I had a really warm welcome from the staff, the cafe has a really nice relaxed vibe, it wasn't too busy on arrival with a good few seats to choose from. The menu was really good with plenty of choice. I went for the Bluebell breakfast which has the unique twist of Greek potatoes added. I can honestly say that this was the best breakfast I've had for a while, everything was fresh and tasty, the latte was piping hot (as requested) and quite smooth. Throughout the staff were really friendly, you cannot fault the customer service. Bring on next Saturday because I will definitely be back!!

Excellent selection of bites to eat, to satisfy the need for a "light bite", through to platefuls for the very hungriest among us! Lovely array of teas and juices to accompany your meal, and a very homely and cosy feel inside. The staff are all wonderful and very helpful, but it does get busy around typical lunchtimes so there may be a short wait at peak times for a table. That alone speaks volumes for Bluebell - never disappointing!

First time I have been here, saw the previous reviews and ratings so thought I would give it a go. We ordered salmon and eggs on toast with hollandaise sauce and I went for a special which was Korean style, dirty fries. Got to say the Korean mince in the fries was bang on. Really good food. Service was very good as well. It's always good to see small independent businesses doing well, top job.

Good food, great service… but unfortunately wouldn’t go back due to stuffy warm atmosphere and kitchen vents that are not working (?). By the end it got so stuffy my eyes were irritated and had to go and wait outside for my partner. Clothes are really smelly now.

We ordered two coffees, one cappuccino and one chai latte; we also ordered two of their winter special pancakes; a combo of apple compote and butterscotch sauce, with a side of streaky bacon! Our coffee and chai came quickly with a smile! This place, with their varied menu and homemade bread and other goodies has quickly topped our list of favorite places to eat! Best pancakes I e had in this country since moving from America! And the streaky bacon was amazing too!

White Roses and misty blue eyes Red mornings and nothing but grey skies A cup of coffee your heart shot clean through........ Crisp frosty mornings had been replaced by a grey mid January. We parked, walked and entered a room of exciting chatter. Happy people, eating and drinking. Blondie in the background. We ordered from an exciting menue. I chose the Large Greek Breakfast and a Cappuccino. The coffee was wonderful, the breakfast even nicer, truly stunning. We ate slowly, enjoying the atmosphere almost as much as the food. More coffee, Blondie continued. We left reluctantly, but shall certainly return. Easily the best breakfast I've had. As I pulled my coat tight around me Blondie reminded me.. "Adorable illusion and I cannot hide...."
