    We are new to the area and tried this chinese last week. It was delicious and fresh and full of real flavours. The owners were lovely and very prompt.

    Over the last 20 years, this takeaway has declined steeply after changing hands several times. Tonight’s chicken sweet and sour chicken, and pineapple fritters had very raw dough, and had a tough texture, as though kept warm, or reheated. Won’t return.

    Good food and good value for money, the food was lovely and fresh and not too greasy, only had to wait 15 mins from point of ordering.

    I ordered 7 different dishes in the takeaway, and it was a very prompt service. However, when I got it home, the bag it came in was sodden in some sort of extremely greasy, yellow oil. I took the dishes out of the bag, which were covered in this oil. Upon opening the dishes, everything had a large film of grease on it. The Crispy Chilli Beef was inedible. We had one piece each, and spat it out. The only saving grace was the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, and the chips. I wasted £38.70 on this takeaway. I will no longer be eating from here. Extremely disappointed.

    The seaweed tasted of old oil, chicken tough, bland. I wish the old owners would return. It’s such a shame there’s such a low standard in quality and care or flavour.
