We had a wonderful birthday lunch at The Fig Tree. The food was impeccable and the service too. We had the tasting menu, which the kitchen kindly adapted to a hybrid of the main and vegetarian menus to make a pescatarian version. The restaurant also happily accommodated the needs of our young daughter, making a simple dish of plain gnocchi and fish, and offering - unprompted - a delicious pudding that wasn't on the menu. They also had a high chair ready at the table on arrival for our baby. The Fig Tree do not automatically add a service charge to the bill, even though they more than earn the right to. Giving the customer the right to choose what they give as a tip feels quite refreshing. Hopefully other people choose to go well above the usual 12.5% too! Overall the bill felt really reasonable for the quality of the experience. We felt like welcome and valued customers, rather than an inconvenience as can be the case when attending with children in some restaurants. The combination of amazing food and thoughtful service made our trip absolutely perfect. A real treat for two tired parents! We will definitely be back.

Went here with a group of 25. Had the tasting menu with the wine flight. Food and drink were stunning. All of the 6 courses were well constructed and delightful. The selection of wine matched the food perfectly. I cannot fault the afternoon. Service was attentive and also informative. We will be going back later in the year .

We had a beautiful lunch there yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. We were blown away by the quality of the food. Service is great and super friendly. So nice to eat and experience a place where the owners both cook and serve and clearly have a passion and love for what they do. Highly recommended!

Finally made it to this restaurant after a lot of hype and I must say it was absolutely devine. The staff immediately made you feel at home. Between our group we ranged over everything and every dish was exactly on mark. Will definitely visit again.

We are visiting from Florida and my aunt and uncle took us here for lunch. THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. Our party of five people agreed it was some of the best food we’ve eaten, including internationally. Not one thing on any of our plates was a misstep. This is no exaggeration. If you are on the fence about eating here, do yourself a favor and just go. You will not regret it. Thank you for wonderful dining experience.

Probably the nicest food i've ever tasted! Every course put a smile on my face. I wish I lived closer to this place as i'd come here all the time. Food was reasonably priced considering the quality. Have paid much more for much less at other "fine dining" restaurants. Waitresses were very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Honestly if you get a chance just go there!

One of the finest tasting menu experiences I've ever had. Beautifully prepared and presented. Can't wait to come back again. My personal favourite was the Dover sole with sauce Veronique and baby leeks but everything was delicious. Well done everyone at the Fig Tree.
