Absolutely amazing!!! Every time! I have visited this fantastic place for so many years with family get togethers, birthday dinners and romantic dates, and it matches my expectations every time. With prices that (donβt tell them) are below what quality of food is. I have so much love for this venue!!! The service is always welcoming and even when they are absolutely packed, theyβre always polite and attentive. Couldnβt compliment this restaurant more. Definitely my top go to

What an absolute Gem of a restaurant. Tucked far enough away from the humdrum but not too far away to appreciate it's absolute class. Service and attention on point, food absolute first class. The selection of wine is up there with Oz Clarkes selling aids!! Not for the first time, my wife and I have left wishing we had unlimited funds along with being able to maintain a positive body image. Seriously though this place is fantastic, they don't do regular dining more exceptional dining at affordable price, you will not be disappointed with your booking and resulting food and drink.

Fantastic experience. Really good service and amazing food. The quality was exceptional. We had the lunch menu. It was excellent and great value for money. Already looking forward to our next visit. Many thanks to the manger who was very friendly and welcoming.

A local institution in St Leonardβs - Hastings. We dined here on a bank holiday Saturday in May 2025. We came with our two children, something the restaurant isnβt used to accommodating as most of the customers are couples or older, more refined folks. The restaurant was perfectly welcoming of the little ones and even rolled out a high chair for our baby. The ambience is lovely, a small intimate dining room with the glow of table lamps set against a dark shade of green on the walls. Drinks were efficiently ordered - the house Cremant de Bourgogne, and an alcohol free German wheat beer. Appetisers comprised of a tasty Thai fishcake, no breadcrumb filler and a delicious dipping sauce; and a chestnut, mushroom and Comte tart. The mains came next - the hake with broad beans and pancetta was a smash hit. The turbot was tasty but this is my only criticism, the portion was far *too small*. Sides of buttered greens and a tomato and shallot salad were, well, perfect. Too stuffed for dessert, we chatted with two friendly ladies at the table next door, then paid and left. About Β£114 for 2 appetisers, 2 mains, 2 sides and 3 drinks, a very good value. Weβll come again.

Hands down, one of my favourite restaurants in Hastings. Had fantastic meal here! Atmosphere great, service fantastic and food always outstanding! Must try place when in Hastings! We had mussel, skate wing and sea bass, all dishes were very tasty. Cheesecake for dessert was fluffy and moreish! Oh, almost forgot, great wine! Canβt wait to visit again!

The best seafood dinner in a while! Tried this restaurant while on holiday with some friends and we loved it. We had a three course dinner and tried a few different dishes, all delicious. Highly recommended!

Totally fresh fish, John Dory and Sea bass worth every bite. The bouillabaisse sauce incredible (ask for a spoon or bread to lap it up). Pate de champagne is a homemade course pate, but with all the flavour added with the homemade soda bread and cherry chutney melts in the mouth. Fantastic. The guys running this place are fun, onpoint and will have a chat, perfect harmony of knowledge and smile. Loved it. Thank you for a great evening.

Had lunch here, cozy place and the server was very friendly. Starters excellent. Mains were good - fish was fresh and cooked very well. The guinea fowl was a little dry though. Overall still great and would go back.

Wonderful lunch had here. Set menu is an absolute bargain. Service friendly and efficient. Thai spicy beef salad to start had a subtle kick - followed by wholesome roasted chicken in mushroom, mustard and tarragon sauce. Then the trio of homemade ice cream was ultra refreshing. My partners chocolate torte a thing of wonder. Will definitely be returning
