We visited the restaurant for Breakfast with Santa. From the minute we sat down the team had thought of everything. Food and drink was so quick to come out and the breakfast was delicious. We will 100% be coming back!!
Arrived just before before 11 today hoping for a birthday breakfast brunch The member of staff appeared to be working alone serving other customers We waited a good 5 minutes or more to be seated and were presented with the ‘snack’ menu. The server said breakfast had now ended at 11am! I asked if some concession could be made as we had had to wait to be seated. The kitchens reply was disappointingly no ! The restaurant was not very busy . We left and went elsewhere Not good enough service sadly
I met some friends here and we were very impressed . The menu was interesting and reasonably priced. The food we ordered was delicious and there was plenty of it. We were served by very friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond when one friend felt unwell and unable to eat much lunch due to the heat. A glass of water appeared on our table before we had time to sit down!
An exceptional garden centre and rose specialists. Friendly and helpful staff. A wonderful 2 acre Rose Garden too...! Absolutely beautiful. Dog friendly as well including the restaurant. Great service and food. Reasonably priced and accessible
Disable parking outside the front door. Wheelchair accessible. Had to que to get a table so left my Grandma in the car to ensure I could get a table as they no longer take bookings. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We luckily got a table for 3. They held my table as I got my Grandma out the car. My Grandma had the Fish n Chips and dessert meal deal. Choosing the lemon and white chocolate tart for pudding. This deal was £15. She had a cup of tea at £2.50 I had a rocky road scone with jam and butter for £4.95. I had diet for £2.00 My mum had sausage roll for £2.50. Then a tea cake. Small seating when full. They have a marquee with more seating but was informed it was cold in there due to the weather so didn't go in there due to my Grandma. Friendly and approachable staff.
Reading good reviews about breakfast I was looking forward to a treat. Boy, was I disappointed. Prices seem to have increased so looking at £11.50 for a full English from £9.50. Unfortunately standards have sunk as the prices have escalated. My wife had the mushrooms on toast as the only healthy breakfast available but the toast had been badly burnt on one side and the charcoal side turned face down to hide it with a measly spread of a mushroom sauce on top, not nice. The full English was little better with blond undercooked sausages, cheap ingredients, a stone cold ramekin of beans and toast without butter. Accompanied by two capuccinos that that tasted like warm milk with a chocolate sprinkle. Mentioned all this to the eldest lady behind the counter who looked in charge and received the usual look of horror when an English person has the temerity to complain. She blamed the Saturday girls who were training apparently. Final fob off was that next time we come back we should mention our complaint for a possible discount. She refused to give her name when I said this was an unnaceptable response - this is the true mark of the guilty. Shall not be going back ever again to test the discounted bad food offer as we both know readers, don't we? That this promise would be broken anyway.
Very good food which is well cooked plus a variety of scones & cakes including cream teas. An excellent garden centre as well
Had breakfast which was very good. The staff were all young, and were attentive, polite and a credit to the owners. Will be back for cake and coffee.
Waited for staff to stop talking before being shown our table. Sausage roll was not up to usual standards. No atmosphere no music just flashing lights. Restaurant was practically empty for time of year. Used to be full at 11am . 6 people including us were there. Seems to have had a price increase a bit pricey
The full English Breakfast was fantastic. To order the breakfast you have to go up to the till.
