Delightful traditional Indian restaurant with great decor which makes the atmosphere warm and lovely. The food is excellent and the staff are incredibly attentive. Great vegetarian options with good portion sizes.

Nice food and overall decent establishment. Completely let down by the food service time. To be fair we did get informed by waiter there was a bit of a wait but when it touched on the hour to get our order I feel that it had gone beyond what is usually acceptable. This is a common occurrence at this restaurant, will be a shame if this is the cause of any decline in customer. The menu and quality of the food is good.

It was our anniversary so decided to go for an Indian meal in Norwich. Spice Valley is clean, friendly and welcoming. We ordered our food which came very quickly. I had lamb samosa for starter and they were hot and moorish, then cam our main meals, my husband had a king prawn vindaloo with steamed rice, I had chicken madras with steamed rice and a keema Nan. The meals were absolutely gorgeous, my husband couldnβt finish all his meal, he had lots of king prawns. I finished my chicken madras but was unable to finish my keema Nan. The whole meal was well worth the money, the service was 10 out of 10, staff polite and friendly. If we go to Norwich again we will certainly go back.

We moved to Norwich in Feb this year, first time having an Indian since moving, so looked around and saw Spice Valley has been voted best in the Easy of England so thought weβd give it ago. Upon walking in we were greeted instantly and seated, first thing we noticed was how clean the place was, with great decor, the light up menus allow a nice atmosphere with no bright lights, a very clever touch. We ordered starters of Prawn Puree which came in a timely manner, had this dish many many times before, but this one had more flavour than any weβve had before was delicious. We ordered Lamb Madras for our main with Garlic rice, which I couldnβt see on the menu but they still made it for us, the lamb was very tender and the curry was awesome, we had a side of onion bahjis and these blew us away, literally no grease at all off these and tasted sooooo good The service was first class start to finish, the most attentive, friendly staff in any Indian restaurant weβve ever been to, by the end of our meal we were stuffed but the waiter still offered to box up what was left which we thought was a very kind gesture Honestly this was our first time visiting this restaurant and can honestly saw I wonβt bother with anywhere else, I can see why itβs voted the best in the East of England *****

Bloody awful experience, after waiting 1.3hours for our food and being told its 5 mins ever time we asked my food turned out 20 mins later. my food was pretty average. My 2 friends had ordered chicken tikka and got hot sauce but the chicken was cold! And raw! Then when they walked out it, the manager tried to charge me and a friend 120.00 even though my meal was only 20.00 and his was 40.00, there was a argument about this to the point the server put his hands around my throat infront of more than 15 customers at the bar!! Extremely shocked! Would give 0 stars if possible the customer service was Terrible !!! Never ever going back!

The food, service and restaurant were all brilliant! The waiters and staff here are so polite, welcoming, friendly, funny and relaxed that it instantly makes you feel settled and comfortable. The food was quick to arrive and bloody delicious!!! We are definitely planning to come back again soon. Thank you for such a lovely meal on a rare date night for me and my husband.

Delicious food and very attentive staff. It was pretty quiet when we went as a big group but that just meant that the waiters were always free for orders & food recommendations as well. Brilliant authentic cuisine in a nicely presented venue. Also the menus lit up which was really cool and I'm easily impressed

I visited here a couple of years ago on their opening where they were giving away free food. I very much enjoyed it and wanted to come back to show thanks. The service was very friendly on my visit this week and the restaurant is nicely designed. It was spotlessly clean and the service was always attentive. Food wasn't great. Dips with the poppadoms were generic and one tasted odd. Disappointed no pickles included there. The curry sauce was pleasant although quite greasy. Chicken itself was bland and lacking flavour. The curry was served at the appropriate temperature though and the sauce did have a depth of flavour. Also didn't like that the restaurant won't give customers a copy of the bill to keep, just the total, so couldn't be used by those on business who needed expenses.
