   With friends for lunch. Friendly staff. Tasty choices on the menu, hard to decide! Will have to return to try some others. Sharing starter was delicious with wonderful crusty chunks of bread and a selection of fabulous dips like tzatziki, humus, creamy cheese, and a roasted pepper and tomato one with the slightest hint of chilli, which was to die for! Could have just eaten dips and bread for my entire meal, except there was a lamb kleftiko on its way! Again, this was so tender that all the meat on the shank came away from the bone with a gentle push of my fork. It was accompanied by a nice selection of seasonal fresh vegetables. Others in the party made choices varying from cheese burger to bbq ribs, and the mixed grill, and couldn't fault their meals either.

   Lovely place away from the crowds and wonderful south facing garden and considerate service. Great portions and presentation. Safe for young children to enjoy and relax with enough shade on hot days.

   Wonderful, relaxed restaurant. The owners were friendly and made us and the children very welcome. The menu offers a good choice for all appetites. We had cajun chicken salad, steak & ale pie and the kids had chicken/fish fingers and chips. Food & staff were fantastic. The garden looks nice too. Will definitely be going back.

   I have already reviewed this restaurant but happy to do it again. It was the best meal I have had in a long time. Hot and beautifully served with courteous staff who couldn't do enough. Don't want to say too much in case too many people come and I can't get a table!!

   Christmas lunch at The Vardar this year was absolutely outstanding, the food was delicious and the staff lovely. The only slight criticism is not about the restaurant itself but about the diners who thought it was acceptable to arrive at 12.20 for the 12.00 sitting which meant they finished their starter courses late which delayed dishing up of the main course for other tables near them as the food is served direct from platters onto customers plates, beautifully fresh and hot. Very poor show by those late diners but I have nothing but praise for the Vardar staff

   What an amazing venue for a wedding do! The owner and the staff were so friendly and helpful, we had a wedding reception for 50 people. The buffet was perfect, the DJ was brilliant. The garden is wonderful too, but number one, the staff are all naturally good people and they really care. Thank you to The Vardar for the wonderful memories ❤

   What a find !! Have walked by it many times. Family run, very busy, 2 events going on, but plenty of room in the garden. Fuller's beer and superb FRESH food. Very friendly. I will be back ! Thank you.
