Having lived in Spain for 20 or so years; I have been MUCHO-ing around the area for some authentic Spanish Tapas. I came here on a Sunday evening and with only one other table in restaurant- it was very quiet (except for the lovely traditional background music) The first page of the menu reads they have 'a great range of Spanish wines', but sadly the wine list was limited in general and with very little Spanish wine on it. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient but wasn't from Spain, so she couldn't really answer my friend's questions about some of the dishes. With this, I ordered a selection of well known Tapas for the table. The food arrived in good time, was generally well presented and was great to see it served in traditional clay cazuelas. By far the best dish were the Albondigas. You get three succulent and sizeable meatballs, dished up in a beautifully rich tomato sauce. The Chorizo al Infierno, has a real kick to it and was cooked perfectly (the menu states it would be flambéed at the table, it wasn’t, but it didn’t matter as it was still tasty) The Gambas al Ajillo tapa consists of 4 big shell on prawns (I don’t mind getting messy!) sautéed with garlic and white wine. Typically in Spain this dish is served sizzling but it came exactly how it was described on the menu (still lovely) The Patatas Bravas were not Patatas BRAVO, like I had expected. They were undercooked for me and the sauce wasn’t spicy like it should be. The Seafood Paella de Marisco Tapa was a real let down unfortunately. There was not much TRES (trace) of seafood in it, apart from a few tiny soggy mussels and the rice was overcooked and bland. I would love to try one of their full size Paellas, as previous reviews were pretty good. If you are looking for authentic Spanish food then this probably isn’t place for you. But if you want value for money, good portion sizes with a Spanish theme, then it’s worth a visit for sure. ZFG ordered: * Patatas Bravas- £4.95 (fried potatoes topped with a spicy sauce) * Seafood Paella de Marisco Tapa- £5.95 (National Dish of Spain. Typical seafood Paella has prawns, mussels, clams and squid in it) * Chorizo al Infierno- £5.95 (which means "chorizo to hell,” Chorizo sausage, cooked at the table over a flaming liquid, typically brandy until the skin blisters) * Gambas al Ajillo- £6.95 (usually sizzling prawns cooked in olive oil with garlic) * Beef Albondigas con Salsa de Toro- £5.95 (Meatballs, usually pork or a mix, served in a rich tomato sauce)

Beautiful restaurant with the best tapas!” Toreros is an authentic Spanish gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful décor that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Spain itself. The tapas were absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. Every dish we tried was outstanding, and the presentation was just as impressive as the taste. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Spanish food and the best tapas around, Toreros is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Had a lovely birthday meal at torero’s! First time we’ve been in ages and the food was so good, the rest of my family’s first time & they loved it. Would recommend!

Lovely tasty food here! We had tapas between 4 adults, the waiter recommended 12 dishes for us which was the perfect amount. Reasonably priced and the sangria was nice too. Would eat here again.

Lovely place with great food. The staff are lovely and helpful. Recommended a dish for our little son which he loved. Definitely eat here if you can, the food is very tasty. The beef was super tasty and melt-in-your-mouth soft. The piri chicken had a good level of spice to it. The paella was flavoursome.

Found this restaurant online before we went to Eastbourne for 2 nights and the reviews were great so decided we had to go and it did not disappoint. The tapas we had was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The calamari was so good we ordered a second one. Welcoming and friendly little place. Chatted to the owner Sejdi before leaving who was lovely. I would highly recommend a visit to this little gem but book if you can as busy. We tried the night before but it was full so made sure we booked for the next day and glad we did.

I have eaten in many a tapas bar over the years, but I'm so glad I came across this little jem of a place. The food was outstanding, the menu had plenty of choices to suit everyone's taste. The restaurant is run by Avni, his father and his brother who is the chef, and a lovley waitress, who are very professional and customer oriented. Really if you want a treat out this is the place to come. See photos.
