    My whole family have always gone to kao wah for Chinese. Never had any issues, always lovely and hot and would never go anywhere else! Very friendly people too .

    Awful food tasted terrible duck and pineapple was like stew with onions tin peas and carrots!! Char su pork so salty couldn't eat, special fried rice with prawns that were like rubber.

    Service was great but the food is a joke. Chow mein hadn’t even seen a wok and had no soy sauce or taste at all. Everything was incredibly bland. Seriously the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.

    Had a few takeaways from here and never had cause to complain. Food is always full of flavour and reasonably priced. Just a shame their delivery area isn't slightly bigger, but you can't have everything.

    INCREDIBLE! don't bother listening to the low star reviews saying "i ate here 7 years ago..." not relevant mate! the service here is always incredible. nice staff, great food and we always get fortune cookies thrown in for free. such a great little place, i will come here for many years to come

    Very poor, I did not like it at all unfortunatly. I ate from here around 7 years ago and was not impressed, but lot of people speak highly of their food so I gave it another try, not to my taste at all.

    Ordered in house but still they managed to get it wrong even after repeating to me what I ordered. Chicken tasted old and unusual colour, even the prawn crackers were over cooked, almost brown. Also both dishes were very bland and colourless other than the prawn crackers of course. The lot went in the bin. Very very disappointed.

    What an absolute gem this is. Tasty… authentic flavours…. not swimming in oil (as so many takeaways are). Fairly priced. Served hot. What more could anyone ask. Highly recommend. It’s such a shame that this lovely lady doesn’t have her own ‘sit-down’ restaurant because her cooking shines compared with what is on offer elsewhere.
