Always Great food here. Large portions- good value. Owner very understanding about intolerances etc. Will try & adapt dishes if possible.
I ordered a Chinese takeaway and I’m very disappointed. I paid £5 extra for delivery and the delivery was 30 minutes late, the food wasn’t warm but it got even worse - the duck was basically inedible. It was rock solid crispy bits with hardly any duck flesh. I asked for a refund before I even tried the food and they wouldn’t give me one and said I could have credit. But I don’t want to order from there again because the food was terrible anyway! :( I am going to ring again now and ask for a proper refund. Originally they said I couldn’t be refunded because “they can’t if you pay on card” which makes no sense to me.
Love the food here. The orders are as it should be and if you have allergies, call in to say, they will talk you through the menu and if they can work around your allergy. My whole family trusts this Chinese restaurant.
We had a takeaway from here last night for 10 people, never ordered here before but took the risk after a recommendation. Huge order which was ordered by phone. Received in good time, food was hot, tasted amazing and order was correct. We were all really impressed and we all plan on ordering from here again!
I've used this takeaway for 3yrs. Every single time I order... It's always delivered lightning quick, generous and very well prepared dishes. Their prawn sesame toast is incredible.... It's rammed with actual prawn! Staff are friendly, food is great. Delivery is quick.

I ordered a sweet and sour vegetarian chicken and a pineapple and cashew fried rice with no egg. I really appreciate that they do vegan options and properly understand what vegan means as I have had issues in the past with other takeaways where they haven’t understood. Food was fresh and arrived very quickly (ordered on a Wednesday night). I tried to order online but got to the payment section after spending time ordering and entering my details for the website to indicate you can only order online if paying in cash. I think this needs to be made clearer up front. You can pay on card over the phone.
Best one in Burgess now. They do most dishes in soya replacement if needed and quite a few of those dishes are vegan if that floats your boat. Order it all online and it saves tons of time.
I would never order again! This was a mission and a half firstly the website is very falsely advertise saying that they offer free drinks if you come and collect or that they offer free delivery is completely wrong as I called up and they said they don’t offer this even though it’s stated on the front page of the website, they also charge multiple different fees if you book through their website so I decided to order over the phone instead only to find out they still charge fees so after all of this I decided to go and pick it up once I got there the staff were so rude and hardly even looked at me let alone spoke. I get home to than finally open my food to see I’ve got the wrong order!! When calling up they were extremely rude and told me I would have to wait 30 minutes for the right food to come even though I only live about five minutes away not even. Offered absolutely no compensation and not even a sorry! Absolute joke, when eating the food the ribs were just pure fat, dry and cold and the rice had absolutely no flavour and was once again dry. Definitely not worth the money.
We usually use the long established Chinese takeaway further up the hill which is located near to WH Smith which is usually hit and miss regarding quality and freshness. On this occasion we wanted to try the Kings Garden, we were very impressed, arrived quickly, food was hot, they even had vegetarian options which were very good. chow meins we’re full of flavour, salt and pepper chicken was excellent and the satay sauce was tasty ( not flavourless or runny like the other takeaways) Well done to the team. We were very happy with our food. We will be ordering again.
