   Just wanted to say a huge thanks to the staff at Ask Ipswich today. I asked for a table out of the way to help as my 2 youngest boys are autistic. We were kindly given a table away from the hustle and bustle of the main diners. The staff were really attentive and the food was excellent, great service, hot and very tasty. Thank you to the staff who made a rare meal our for us a really lovely experience :)

   This place is consistently awesome. It’s always our first choice of places to eat before going to the cinema. It’s a nice atmosphere, the staff are always polite and friendly (with just the right level of service), and most importantly - the food is always lovely. Not had a bad meal here in 10 years, highly recommended! Keep up the good work guys!

   What’s not to like? Great food, ambience, and evening. We booked a table for 16, a family thing for grandson’s 18th birthday. We used to eat here a lot in the past and it was always enjoyable, but I think it has improved! The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were served by Samantha, who was amazing when dealing with all our orders. As a family gathering we wanted to enjoy ourselves, enjoy each other’s company, enjoy the food, and enjoy the experience. All of these were easily achieved. Everyone enjoyed their food, and considering the range in ages and tastes, that’s amazing. The restaurant is modern and the seating comfortable. The decor is lovely and has a relaxing feel to it, and importantly the lighting was just right. All in all we had a fabulous time. It did take a while for the food to arrive but in my opinion if you’re booking that many people into a restaurant where food is cooked to order, that’s not unreasonable. We paid for ourselves, and there was no problem splitting the bill, which was done without efficiently and without any fuss. A pic for the bill (for myself and my wife) is attached to verify this review (with Samantha’s second name removed). Well done Samantha and Ask Italian at Ipswich!

   Food was very nice. Service was a bit slow at times. There was one blonde women who was very polite, kind and looked after us. Felt the other staff slacked a little and we had to keep asking for drinks. As for slapping on a £36 service charge that was another thing entirely. Considering it was already a £300+ bill that was not on. Usually you have to tell us its on there and we can ask for it to be removed which was not the case.

   Had a really enjoyable lunch. Butterfly King Prawns starter was superb. The Penne Pollo Della Casa Pollo was really tasty as was the the Linguine Carbonara. And the seasonal variation (white chocolate) of the Baked Chocolate Gnocchi was fun! The app didn’t work as it said we’d entered the wrong table number - we hadn’t! Table service was friendly and efficient.

   I will be honest I've never had a bad meal here. The pizza is delicious, the raspberry lemonade is so nice and the staff are brilliant everytime we go. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.
