   Wasn't sure what to make of this place when arriving as quite small and the bar area smelt of ciggarettes. However, the restaurant area was very cosy and nicely decorated. The radiators were on, the lighting was low and the food was absolutely delicious. My dad and I were throughly impressed, especially as the pricing was so reasonable. £49 for 3 drinks, a starter and 2 mains. We will be returning!

   We had a very nice meal there on Saturday. Luckily we had the place to ourselves. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Defiantly we would visit again.

   Stayed in the area for the day and seen this pub local. Friendly staff and beer was perfect. Ordered spicy wings at £7 and they came out abit burnt and only 4 small pieces. Bit pricey for quantity. Great overall

   I only popped in for a couple of beers whilst staying in the area so can't comment on the food. The beer was good and the staff were friendly and happy to let me have a taste of the beers on offer to help me decide which to choose. The locals were very welcoming to a stranger and made me feel at home. It's a proper village pub. I'm in the area for a week and will be visiting again.

   We held our Pearl Wedding anniversary celebrations here and the service, food, venue were absolutely fantastic. Beccy and the team work tirelessly to make everyone feel welcome and make everything run smoothly without any hitches. The outdoor area was beautifully set up and decorated tastefully with music and lighting into the evening it was perfect. Could not have asked for a better day.
