    Well for a start they don’t deserve any stars, we ordered a delivery and 1 and a half hours later we got the worst Chinese we have ever had, prawn balls !!!! More like a shrimp in a ball of batter that was disgusting, and my chips were possibly the worst chips I could of ever had in my mouth, dry cold and double cooked, the house special was only offered as wet so went with that, mostly vegetables and what can only be described as a boil in the bag rice with some gravy, we don’t have a lot of take outs because we see it as a special treat, and then to get food served to you like this, We certainly won’t ever go to this place again. order number was 4920228

    Food ordered and despite many follow-up calls the food was delivered 2 hours and 53 minutes later. Called for a refund and to cancel, but was told that wasn't possible. Was offered additional food for a makeup to the delay, but nothing additional was in the order. We normally get great food and service, but after a very long airplane ride we were left very disappointed as it was nearly 10pm before we got our food. Order number is 4881885.

    Absolutely awful service. Ordered food, waited 1.5 hours, called up and they’d forgotten our order. They apologised, said it’d be another 30 mins, and offered a free dish. Food finally arrived 2.5 hours later, completely cold,clearly left sitting in the car. When they called to ask if it was okay, I said it wasn’t. The lady said, “Please allow us to give you a complimentary full meal of what you ordered next time,” personally I’d rather had a refund but thought I’d accept the offer. We gave them another chance and called again, only to be told it was just a free dish, not a full meal, totally not what was promised. Why would we spend another £50–£60 of our money for a “free dish” after that disaster? That’s not how you make things right, that’s asking your customer to pay again for their mistake. They lied, the food was cold, and it’s overpriced. Never again, save your money and get yourself some British fish and chips instead! Thanks for the reply! I won’t be sharing my order number as there’s nothing to investigate. We both know exactly what was said and agreed. You’re only replying here to make it seem like you care. The issue isn’t about confusion or needing details, it’s that when it came to standing by your word, you changed it. You promised a complimentary full meal, not just a dish, and then retracted that offer. What you should have done was give a full refund for the poor-quality, cold food and the long wait. That would’ve shown real customer care, not empty apologies after the fact.

    ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, I wish I could leave a no star review! After waiting over an hour and half food was delivered stone cold rang up to complain and went to collect "fresh" food. I was so shocked that state of this place and seriously question how this place is even open, Egg fried rice has never seen a frying pan barely boiled, chicken balls had a thick layer of uncooked batter, chicken chow mein was disgusting I suppose the chips were the only edible thing to eat and even then I feel ill. I have no complaints about the guy on the phone but the rest of the staff are rude. I will NEVER revisit this place and strongly recommend you don't!

    SHOCKING!!!! Ordered a takeaway about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Long story short they forgot about us, after calling we finally received the food 2 hours later (yes 2 hours), it was cold, over cooked and looked like it was a cast off from another customer. Naturally I wasn't going to waste my time phoning to complain so I proceeded to write a review on Google when someone phoned to ask if the food was OK, it almost felt like they knew it would be awful. I obviously paused writing the review because the lady offered me a free order next time after explaining that it was terrible and cold. Benefit of the doubt I didnt write a review and tonight i phoned up to get my free order. It turns out its a free meal (1 item), that IS NOT WHAT YOU SAID. so rather than spend another 60 quid on your rubbish food here's your review. I tried you once because I normally go to the Raunds Cottage but you failed to impress. Slow service, misleading, expensive and above all your food is rubbish. In future show some respect and accountability for completely forgetting about my order but proceeding to deliver cold dry food to me. You haven't kept your Word and you will never get a penny from me again. I will also do my very best to influence as many people as possible to stop using you. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Usual rip off prices for poor service and slop.

    Ordered a meal at 1850 to collect at 2000. Partner went in at 2000 & waited until 2035 ? When he eventually returned one of the 2 dishes we ordered was completely wrong. Rang them to be told “we’re busy”. Not very helpful for regular customers. Food we did have was not very nice either. Such a shame as 6ths ago this would have been a 5* review. Also we were overcharged for our food.
