Our 1st visit based on a family recommendation. We came with those family members who I'm afraid we're embarrassed with the whole experience. We came for Sunday lunch and were given a table directly in front of the main door. As a result, every time the door was opened we were blasted with cold air. The food was average at best from the very limited sunday menu and based on tge very long service times, I presume the chef was struggling. Portion sizes were good and the food was cooked well and served hot. The mash tasted like it was from a packet puree and the fish pie was very bland. The mains were OK but lacked that deep wholesome pub flavour. Deserts were disappointing, marble cake on the menu wasn't available. The white chocolate cheesecake was very thick and gluey with the smallest ball of ice-cream I've seen. And the eaton mess had been over blended so lacked crunch and individual flavour. We waited around an hour for our mains and 40 minutes for cold deserts. Whilst the staff were very friendly and apologetic, one described the kitchen as "hectic", we were very disappointed overall.

Stopped off for an ad-hoc lunch on our way to Rushden after spotting this place on Google maps. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Food was lovely I had the club sandwich which was excellent! We will be back.

Went to the scarecrow festival over at Little Addington at the weekend and had a delicious Sunday dinner in The Bell. Now under new ownership we received a warm welcome from staff and locals now The Bell has returned to a tradition village pub with a great menu we will be visiting again. Three courses and a pint each came to just over £70 which I felt was a fair price for the service and quality of the meal. The pie night looks great on Friday 17th October so might be best to book to guarantee a place. Definitely at strong 9/10 and only a few minutes up the road.

Excellent place. Independent pubs seem to be quite rare now-a-days and this definitely is one. Excellent service an ambience. Great beer really impresses me and a lovely location. Popular indoor/outdoor space and enough parking. I always thought the Loop Road was a local myth but really is a road to where you just were with a great pub half-way round! Perhaps that's what heaven will be like...

What a great place! So accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Accepted our little doggo, which is always a plus. Staff we're really attentive and the food was amazing. One of the best roasts we've had locally. Would highly reccomend! See you soon.

Second visit to The Bell Inn at Little Addington for another Tuesday Dad & Son beer night. Quiet here on a Tuesday.night save for a local committee meeting for an event to be held between the Addington villages. Felt a bit odd (possible Rotary Club meal last time we came) but we sat over the other side of the big lounge area so it didn't disturb us, chatting as we were. Good community business for the pub, though. There is always a very good welcome here. Two draft beers on, this time. Mine was well kept and presented. Apart from that there was fairly limited beer choice but also some bottles in the chiller. We didn't come for a big session as one of us was driving so it wasn't an issue. There's a good standard pub menu for lunch some days and evening meals and they also do both afternoon tea and high tea. Roasts on Sunday. senior's lunches too, it appears. Check the website...always best before you book, anyway. This pub is worth another visit but very much a local pub trying to expand its food business. It's a nice building but the pub is tucked away in this small village and you have to know it's there. Worth trying it out. Can't comment on the meals though, yet but if we eat, another time, I'll update this initial review.

Lovely Sunday lunch with plenty of everything beautifully cooked. Just a tad expensive for regular meals other than a special occasion. Friendly staff.
