The food is excellent. We ordered: sweet and sour chicken balls, jade house special chow mein and spring rolls. Would highly recommend. The staff are really friendly and the service is good.
Probably the worst take away we've ever had since living up here for 10 years. Opened up today after being on holiday. Prawn crackers were stale, so no idea when they were made. Salt and chilli chicken hadn't seen any salt or chilli. Dumplings - literally tasted of nothing. Duck was cold and slimy. Couldn't even touch it. Special rice - plain rice with a few cold meats thrown on top. No flavour. Distinct lack of flavour, msg, soy - anything. Was like an Iceland buffet. Very disappointed after hearing good things from others. Wouldn't return. 1 star food hygiene rating. Defo wish we would have checked first!!
Staying in the village for a couple of weeks so good to have a couple of takeaways but would definitely travel to this place. Two meals and both have been absolutely excellent.
I feel sorry for the person behind the counter as they spent the entire time apologising. Ordered salt and pepper wings and singapore noodles. Problem number 1 they couldn't take card and had no change. Eventually sorted that problem. Problem 2 all out of singapore noodles ok fine agreed to switch to normal chow mein. Order arrives regrettably I didn't check the dishes before leaving and the chow mein is ok but the wings have transformed into either deep fried beef or chicken as they are so overcooked difficult to tell. Alas I will avoid in the future.
such good customer service and really easy to communicate over the phone there’s never a long waiting time for the food and always tastes 10 out of 10. been coming here since i moved into the village and really don’t plan on changing that. when we ordered food for our friend with allergies they were so easy going and helped to much when picking out the right food.

This Chinese is great. We visited Grendon for the weekend and wanted a takeaway on Saturday night. Really reasonable prices, around £40 for 5 of us and that was a lot of food. They gave us 2 bags of prawn crackers which is great and a bunch of fortune cookies. Would defo recommend.
The people there are very nice and the food is done quickly and is very tasty I have been multiple times now and has been amazing everytime.
Cash only!? Yip, no cards Strong smell of black mould/mildew in the shop front. Food was hot, very tasty and very spicy.
Went here for first time yesterday. Had chicken curry. Chicken fried rice. BBQ spare ribs and chips. The good was gorgeous. Not greasy and fatty like in some places. Only reason for not getting five stars is my very slight disappointment that they didn't do banana/pineapple fritters
