Lovely friendly pub. Quick friendly service. Food was excellent. Portions just the right size to leave room for pudding.

We live fairly locally and after all these years we finally tried this pub/ restaurant. Really super friendly welcome on arrival which was lovely. Ate in the dining room section which is very rustic and has plenty of room in between diners’ tables. Noticed the pub had a great atmosphere too! Super meal - charcuterie boards to share and then had fish n chips and tonic’s opted for the sticky Korean chicken burger which was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the lovely lady who was waiting on us and the rest of the tables. The dessert menu looked delicious but we didn’t have room to eat puds this time.Spotted the pretty lit up pub garden at the back. It is on our list now for future visits!

This Wheatshef is great! The beer selection is good, the staff are friendly and very attentive, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. The food was great with a real interesting menu, and the location was fantastic. Whether you're looking for a relaxed pint or a meal with friends, this pub ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend – we'll be back again.

This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The warm lighting, rustic decor, and comfortable seating make it an ideal place for a relaxed meal. Considering the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes, you really get more than what you pay for. Highly recommended for those who want a quality meal without breaking the bank. The food here is absolutely delicious and luscious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the duck and the risotto. For the dessert the delicia. Hands down, some of the best food I've had recently! The service was really great! Very helpful staff. Thanks to Head Chef Asa Cosgrove Dog friendly place. Kid friendly. If you haven’t tried this place yet you need to.

An amazing country pub. The gluten free selection on the menu is probably the best I have seen. The quality of the food and service was just perfect.

We have visited this pub/restaurant on a few occasions and we absolutely love it. The staff and locals are really friendly to us and our dogs. We ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were extremely happy with quality of the food and the service.
