Popped in for a fantastic Italian meal last night. My friend had the calzone which was crammed full of delicious pizza toppings and I had the special salmon pasta which was superb. All washed down with a few pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Definitely worth a visit!

Visited here for pub lunch on bank holiday Monday! Typical pub food menu options with two and three course set menu. Pub staff helpful and friendly food cooked freshly and good quality and value £55 includes two soft drinks and two courses of main and ice cream dessert!

Gorgeous really old building in a peaceful and picturesque village. The staff were lovely and the food several cuts above your standard pub food - it was delicious and to an excellent standard. Highly recommend. Just need to do something about the wasps!

The food is to die for, had deviled kidneys to start and Turbot for my main both lovely. Great wine menu. The service was excellent, in fact from start to finish the whole experience was perfect. Would highly recommend it.

I always have an amazing meal whenever I come here to eat. Great food, lovely staff, and impeccable service. My husband and I try to come here for a meal and drinks a few times a year, and it is consistently brilliant. There is always a nice atmosphere, too.

Remember to ask for the fish menuand see if Mary is on hand to advise you on the best way to enjoy. Two of our diners had skate and whilst it is not popular everywhere it was prepared beautifully and just fell apart when the cutlery touched the flesh - divine. Well worth visiting, especially if you are interested in a two or three course meal.

Very dog and people friendly. A warm welcome. Good home cooked food at excellent prices. Beer prices also so reasonable. Obvious it is a well used and loved local. Will be going back even though an hour's drive but a great place halfway to meet up with family. Mi
