   I had takeaway fish and chips although you can eat various other dishes in the cafe. Nice clean interior. Friendly helpful staff. Takeaway Fish and Chips tasted great. The chips were a good size and not scrappy. The fish was a good size with nice crispy batter. The whole meal tasted nice as though the cooking oil was fresh. Would highly recommend the Red Cafe.

   DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered from here on Saturday expecting a desirable meal, yet I received a meal that was did not sustain needs. I had opened this to come to the realisation that my food was cold. I was told this was to be fresh fish and chips but was distinctly not. I had also asked for it to be crispy but was only to be given a soggy fish. I had also heard from one of the staff members that the pies get microwaved rather then being “cooked” fresh. I will not be coming to this establishment ever again due to this foul experience.

   Used this place for the first time tonight and I'm very dissapointed. Food was delivered by motorbike - it had been crushed and would easily have fitted through the letter box. The large chips were the smallest 'large' portion I'd ever seen. The chilli bites had disintegrated during the journey. The battered sausages were saturated with a quite rancidly tasting fat. On a positive the curry sauce was nice. I won't use them again... In summary, small portions of poor quality food.

   I originally submitted an average review commenting on the length of time we have waited more recently when we’ve ordered and whilst I still maintain that the delivery wait can be quite long, Food has always been great and it’s why we’ve continued to order. Very surprised that shortly after submitting my review- regarding the wait time, we had a face to face apology. It was much appreciated and definitely unexpected. Very impressed with the level of customer service and has restored my faith in ordering in the future. Thanks red cafe.

   The food I've always brought from here has been fantastic. The chips are great, cooked just right and are not greasy and they are so tasty. Sausages, battered or normal are great. Onion rings delicious with crispy batter and not greasy. Mushy peas stay hot for ages, and the cod is fantastic. Best thing is, it's only three minutes from door to door. Oh, and the service is good too.
