“So I was passing through Rushden and wanted a full English breakfast. Well I am so glad I stumbled across this place. Robert and Kirstie run a wonderful cafe. They also do a fish Tuesday special. Great service, fantastic food and very fairly priced. Highly recommended. It is up Hamblin Court off the High Street. Give it a try!”

“Love their breakfast - I have the create your own mostly sometime keep simple and order a set breakfast - so far only 1 issue Sausages are alittle on the cheap side with an armored skin My only fault - needs better sausages Love the hash browns and fried toast as cooked with the flavours of the bacon juices on the grill Great staff too very kind people always service with a smile”

“Had a lovely lunch today, Ham , two properly cooked eggs, chips and green salad. Two cold drinks and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of room to sit and eat and not squashed in as in some places. Quiet ambience and friendly staff. Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.”

“popped in with my dad for a coffee as I love this place. staff are always friendly and welcoming and the coffees are delicious. didn't have any food this time but every time I have it's been very tasty. went in about 2pm and wasn't too busy and easily got a table.”

“Had breakfast at Bill’s and it was fantastic! I had the shakshuka, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Really warming, perfectly spiced, and so full of flavour. The flatbread on the side was amazing too. My husband ordered a side of hash browns, and the portion was huge! Lovely people serving us as well, such a friendly atmosphere and a great start to our day. Highly recommend!”

“Access is from the staircase at the back by the waterside. Freshly renovated with a rather pinky look inside. Tastefully done though. You can reserve a table online if you wish.. Plenty of friday evening entertainment with live singers. A large spacious area with lots of seating. A dance floor too. Outdoor seating for warmer nights with nice views. Its not just for youngsters, there seems to be a mixed age range inside which is nice to see. VERY nice cocktails. Service was quick. Do choose carefully on the food menu, I'd say they were more warm snacks than actual large plated meals.”

“The food I've always brought from here has been fantastic. The chips are great, cooked just right and are not greasy and they are so tasty. Sausages, battered or normal are great. Onion rings delicious with crispy batter and not greasy. Mushy peas stay hot for ages, and the cod is fantastic. Best thing is, it's only three minutes from door to door. Oh, and the service is good too.”

“Great place for kids, my first time with my 2 children. so much choice for play and big spacious area. good value for money considering all that's there. we also had lunch and the food was really tasty. would defo recommend. the only issue we had was the bumper cars...they were not working properly on the day we attended, and the young man who was in charge of them didn't really know how to fix them or deal with the situation, but it did not ruin our experience. will be coming back again!”

“I visited this lovely little cafe a few months ago with my newborn. The staff were very welcoming, and despite being short on space, they made some for myself and the pram. My order was taken quickly, food arrived shortly after and was reasonably priced. One lady (sorry, I've forgotten her name but I think she was relatively new) went above and beyond - she saw me breastfeeding my baby shortly after I arrived and made sure I had some water on the table for this. She also made me feel very comfortable feeding in public, which was a really big deal for me as it was actually my first time feeding my baby out! We had a lovely chat about our children, and she really put a smile on my face. Thank you for being so friendly! The only downside was there were no changing facilities for my baby, and the stairs leading to the toilets are very narrow and steep - not particularly disabled friendly. Otherwise, a really great place to visit for lovely food.”

“A great place to come and try what's available in the world of beer. An excellent range if craft beers bottled, canned or on draught. The selection on offer is well thought out, offering a range across the varieties. From Spurs to DIPAs to shouts and everything in between. There are spirits and cocktails on offer for those not keen on beer, and nibbles are available for the peckish. The decor is clean and welcoming. With nice little touches with the lighting etc. Would highly recommend for the knowledgeable friendly staff, and the amazing range to go at. Worth several visits to make your way through them all.”

The service was 10/10, waitresses so lovely and attentive to us, the food was piping hot, and took us back to our holiday in Italy, it tasted so authentic. “I have visited here with different people over the last couple of weeks. The first time, my friend and I ordered the Super grain salad. It doesn't say anywhere in the ingredients there's anything hot or spicy in it, but neither of us could eat it! We asked if they could check with the chef and he said there's a coating on the grains that isn't mentioned. They apologized and changed our meals for another one with no fuss.”
