   We usually visit this cafe for coffee with our dogs after walks around the lakes, and it’s normally a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, on this occasion, two staff members objected to our tiny puppy (just 900g) being carried in a sling. The puppy is too small and vulnerable to be safely placed on the floor among larger dogs and foot traffic. While the cafe advertises itself as dog-friendly, the strict “dogs on the floor only” policy was enforced without any flexibility or common sense for such a young and fragile pup. Even when the puppy was asleep on my lap in the sling, they insisted it be put on the floor, claiming it made other customers uncomfortable, though no customers raised any concerns themselves. I’m very disappointed by the rigid, “computer says no” approach, which prioritised policy over the wellbeing of a vulnerable animal. A little discretion would have gone a long way.

   Friendly, buzzing atmosphere. Very clean. Polite staff. It was in the run up to Christmas so Rushden lakes was busy and so was the cafe. We met friends and enjoyed our time together there. We did have to queue a bit when we ordered a second round of drinks, but at Christmas that's to be expected. The drinks were nicely presented and very enjoyable.

   Extremely friendly staff and a dog friendly cafe. Unfortunately, their recent 20% price increase on hot chocolate means it is no longer value for money in my opinion and so I will be looking for another coffee shop to frequent. Either that or do without.

   popped in with my dad for a coffee as I love this place. staff are always friendly and welcoming and the coffees are delicious. didn't have any food this time but every time I have it's been very tasty. went in about 2pm and wasn't too busy and easily got a table.

   Great place and good location right by the lake at Rushden lakes shopping centre. Great cappuccino and served piping hot. Good selection of cakes. Nice polite staff. It's great to sit outside weather permitting. Does get busy but don't let that deter you

   Visited with my Mum last week whilst doing a bit of Christmas shopping. And I was blown away by the service and atmosphere in there. I hadn't been in before, even though it was busy there was such a great vibe in there. The staff were working together, were smiling and seemed genuinely happy to talk with customers even offering up their own recommendations. We will definitely be back. Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas season!

   Such a delicious coffee. The taste of it really great. I had a medium caramel macchiato and I was really impressed by the taste of it. They have a range of cakes and muffins which I didn't see anywhere else.

   Yes please. Love their flat white coffee. And love the toasties they do. Yes, it borders on the expensive since they don't really do any "specials" like some of their competition (if you ignore the muffin and coffee breakfast special), but the quality is always good. And the service is always friendly.

   First visit to this premises - outdoor seating available for good weather, staff on hand for assistance or enquiries. Tables cleared away and cleaned promptly. Located just close to the boardwalk area. Lots of coffee options and cappuccino as well as tea and coffee and a range of soft drinks and sandwiches and cakes.
